youre a loser, when i went thre in Feb. i didnt see a single person smoking, and all the resturants were non-smoking. Smoking isnt even part of our culture anymore, its just like it is in the US, only people who got addicted before the adds, and the losers that think its cool, thats less then half of the people here probably, so dont make up BS so taht people think Canada is a bad place

Well - it was fair based on our Constitution - you just didn't like the outcome. Get over it. Gore isn't even running in 2004.

As for the Electorial College being outdated - it's not. Tthe Electorial College is fair to the smaller states. If politicians only had to worry about getting the majority of population - then they would not waste their time in the smaller states like North Dakato. All states are important under the Electorial College. It's not the people who elect the president - it's the states. It has always been that way - and unless the Constitution gets changed it will be that way till the end of time. Chances of getting the smaller states to give up their rights to the larger states (which New Jersey would under) is slim to none. 2/3 of the states would have to apporve the change.

Ok - we have both been to Montreal - but I observed a lot of smoking and you did not. Although I disagree with you, I did not call you a loser or a dumb@$$ or an @$$.

You left an angry message for me to change it back, then you said "thats your way to fight, by changing there title, its just sad really" You added that as an afterthought. What is REALLY sad is that you CARE SO MUCH about your title.

Calling me an @$$ after I changed your title was a great way to ensure that it will be permanent. The correct thing to do would to be to apologize, whether you are right or wrong - i am the admin.

For the record, I like Canadian people. I was just half kidding with all the things that I said. Disliking french ppl is sort of a joke - i just really hated my french teacher this year..so im sort of turned off the french you see. I have many french online freinds

I was serious about all the smoking I saw in Montreal. It is pretty big - so maybe you (gollum) did not visit the same areas that I did. No need to flame me. Your title still stands.

You have that right. Canada has A LOT of issues. The country needs go to a therapist to overcome all it's self esteem problems it has. I know it's not easy to living next to the most powerful country in the world - NJ is next to the most arrogant city in the (NY).

You can actually be proud of the things you have - without having to constantly criticise America. I don't criticise NY (well not much) I love the city, I just don't like New York City's or New York State's politics against New Jersey. New Jersey is a great state and has a lot to do. But it's overshadowed by NY and Philadelphia. NY also goes out of it's way to give NJ a negative image to the rest of the world and to the US in particular.

With Canada - no I don't have a problem with the people really. Well at least the majority I don't. With NY - yes - I have a problem with most New Yorkers. They come to our beaches and leave their trash all over them and litter and smoke - then while here they constantly complain about NJ and then they go back to NY. where they go and tell the country that NJ is crap - but they still come here to go to our beaches and enjoy our amusement parks - not to mention to watch the Giants and Jets play.
