I hope Gondors sunny - Page 2

I'm debating over taking my kids to see RotK, the first showing at midnight -- everyone will be in costumes,etc. Do you think the same festival atmosphere will prevail during the daytime showings? It will be so cool -- but midnight is a little late for small people and hobbits.

As a mommy...midnight is too late, they get tired, cranky, clingy, and whiney. There is a strong chance of someone falling asleep in their popcorn during "The Wedding"!

I must not let my enthusiasm for LotR run away with me. Or I will get like that woman who read Harry Potter to her 7 month old baby. . . that's just a little young!

Right i have seen the Advanced preview! Gondor certinally is not sunny infact the white city isnt even white and as for the plenor there seems to be no sign of the wall or any kind of farming of civlisation outside the city. Which to me is a bit silly.

Come on PJ Minus Tirth doesnt stop just at the gates

One picture I saw gave me the impression that Gondor had that yellow brown look. Sort of like Rivendell. It looks the way you try to make a document look old. Yellowed with the brown burnt edges. I'm not too keen on this enhanced colorization...though pretty in it's own way, it sort of dulls things, and makes it harder to see.

yeah, but you cant really tell what gondor looks like. in the RotK preview on the TT DVD, it didnt show much of gondor at all.
