You don't need a formal education. But if that's what you're going to do for a living, then you have to jump through some hoops. No shame in not getting a formal education. Thank God you aren't cursed with one, Sween!

Bachelor of Arts (Hons), 1998 -- Philosophy

Master of Christian Studies, 2002(3) -- Interdisciplinary Studies

Master of Arts, 2003 (if all goes well) -- Philosophy

Doctor of Philosophy, 2005 (if all goes well) -- Philosophy

Then I can finally get a job and teach those who are interested how to think straight. Of course, teaching that isn't anything other than helping people teach themselves how to think straight.

And maybe publish a few things on what we ought to be doing, and who we are, and why that matters. Maybe I'll figger some stuff out. But we'll see about that.

Sigh. Of the writing of books there is no end. It's a curse to be saddled with this calling, or else it's a gift to suffer so!

Gotta go and make supper for my wife, who's coming home from her job which puts me through school!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm doing a politics/history B.A. I wouldn't mind throwing in some religion, philosophy or an english course in my schedule next year but I doubt I'll be able to fit it in.

As for after that who knows? Maybe a law degree, maybe an M.A.

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, minoring in math and simulation systems. I started out in physics (hi, Draken!) and loved mechanics and optics, but quit when I got to electricity and magnetism, because I just knew I'd kill myself in lab!

Draken, Cassiopeia is just finishing up her bachelors in Astrophysics, you two physicists should talk!

B.A = History

I am currently pursuing 2 Master Degrees, one in History and one in International Affairs.

I have taken a break off from my M.A. programs, the past 2 semesters I've not participated in. I found it extremely hard to balance working full-time and then going to grad school full-time. I got really burnt out and the workload was incredible. I think also, I just needed a break from school as I went straight to college after high school and straight to grad school after undergrad. I am not sure when I will go back, I know I will, but I just have such an awesome job right now, I am very content
