Are you sure that's not the dead marches? Or Sam waking up Frodo for stewed rabbit? I'll have to watch it again...

Oh god, oh god (can you imagine me when the film comes out! ) I am downloading it now, but I saw the stills from theonering.net You can see Gollum!! He looks scary, I might have nightmares over him. Aragorn and Arwen.......hmm, I'm not that happy about that. Oh, well, I'll have more when I finished downloading it (thanks for the tip sween!)......only 12% done.

If you look at the background in their scenes together it's clearly Rivendell. Flashback, most likely.

Ahh, just finished watching the trailer. I love Ent legs! I was always confused about how they would do that. Aragorn and Arwen seem to be getting on very well. I don't like it when Aragorn says something like "He is destroying the world of men". I hope they arn't going to focus on men too much.

Well, there is that scene where she's got that cloak on, and appears to be walking with a group... but I guess that could be the part where they go to Lothlorien?

And to thin he even makes random Arwen insertions relatively useful! I'm impressed. I couldn't see the ents though, bloody low resolution. Solid though, very much so. First thing I have to do when I get home I suppose is figure out how to get tickets.

One word: Wow. December 18 can't get here fast enough. What an awesome trailer.

My new prediction about where the Sam/Frodo storyline ends: either in Ithilien or maybe (this is the one I'm hoping for) at the crossroads before they head to Cirith Ungol. Isn't that a shot of the Black Gate? I think so, right after Frodo asks Gollum if he knows the way to Mordor and before "Unless All Unite Against Evil" comes onto the screen. I can't wait.

AHHHHHH! I don't have AOL, or the right version of quicktime, and I can't download the dang version of QT that I need.

I did see the stills though. I'm utterly just...no words to describe what I'm feeling.

poor Starr Polish... lordoftherings.net has a version for realone players, if you have that instead...

Is it just me, or did Agent Elwrong seem a bit hasty to boot it to Valinor? hmmm...I'll have to watch it again (and again, and again, and again ) just to make sure

True, now that I watch it again... it is indeed Rivendell, and besides, Elrond is there. And I can't see Aragorn going all the way back to Rivendell during the film... doesn't make any geographical sense. So you're probably right.

Oh Yes! Wargs ridden by Orcs. Gandalf vs the Balrog. Oliphant action. Yes, this will blow away FotR. Fantastic! Wow! and this is only the trailer.

The bit with Gandalf "upside down" must be his reseruction scene. Any other guesses?

LOL. can you feel Greg's power?

awesome trailer!!!!

has anybody seen Faramir? he should appear, because we're going to see at least the battle with the oliphaut at Ithilien...

i also think that the Arwen scenes are flashbacks, but i don't know what's that hooded company in which she appears.

wargs? i haven't seen them gonna see it again inmediatly!!!
