I'd rather be a Numenorean so you get perfect health up to about 400 yers and have lots of time to pursue any pleasures

Although I'd like both so how about moderate health and occasional sex ?

I am going to have to say sex.

One reason is that I believe that we were meant to have sex (obviously) and that our health was meant to fail. Who am I to mess with the plan? Besides, I come from very good stock; I don't have any health problems that run in the family except for a little high blood pressure, but mine is actually low, so I should be okay.

Besides, I like the "moderate health and occasional sex" idea -- that was a good one.

Perfect health? As in perfect physical health. or perfect mental and physical health?

Since sex is part of a normal healthy adult (note particularly the full definition of the word adult) regimen, I don't see how you can be perfectly healthy without having a sex life.

The strain sounds like it would diminish my quality of life. Nothing worse than a perfectly healthy mad man. Just ask Hitler. He was a vegetarian health nut. He also had real problems with healthy sexual expression, but I don't think I want to discuss that, as a mod mentioned earlier.

So if I'm being rational, I see the choice as pretty clear. I'll choose sex, and humanity, instead of an asexual "perfection" anyday.

Anyway, I'd choose perfect health provided the my sex drive plunges. It won't be so bad not getting any if you don't crave it.
