x-files tend to give me headaches.I will read anything BUT those, I am not a sci-fi freak (whistles and glances around aimlessly)

Astellian nobles don't exert themselves in any way, so they have no concept of human endurance. The serfs take advantage of that outrageously. Astellian serfs have been known to collapse from sheer exhauston at the very mention of such unpleasant words as 'reaping' or 'digging'."

Love Sabriel. Love Lirael. Love Abhorsen. Excellent books, some of my favorites. Life is so easy when you know what you like. Oh yes, LOVE the Dog.

I just finished Abhorsen a few days ago and it was wonderful. For some strange reason I ended up memorizing all the bells.

Does anyone know what the name for Yrael would be? You know, Ranna the Sleeper, Mosrael the Waker... What's it for Yrael?

I went to the bookshop today to buy Lirael and it's not out over here until September the 9th.

I got to wait nearly 2 weeks.

What do you mean it's not out for two weeks? Shouldn't it be out already? Do you mean Abhorsen, or is America really slow in getting Aussie books (like the reverse).

I'm from the UK.

9th Sptember it was out and i said in the shop that you guys have got Abhorsen and she said that she hadn't even heard that there was going to be a third book. so i don't know how long we are going to wait until we get that.

Oh, I'm sorry.

Heh, we've had it out for ages. It's good when books/movies etc are Aussie; we get them early for once, and of course it invokes a sense of pride.
