Thank you, thank you, thank you, to whoever it was who put the lyrics to may it be up. I was looking at them and noticed that there is some elvish in it. I tried to figure out e=wht it meant but all I could figure out was that Mornie meant black grief or darkness. If anyone knows what the other words mean could you post them? I'd be really happy if you did. Thanks

You can find the words and translations in the CD (LOTR Soundtrack) sleeve. I borrowed the CD for a week and it was the only CD I played. Maybe I will have to by it...

It's addictive isn't it? My favorite part is the last minute of 'the bridge of kazahdum' And the little booklet is so sweet.

It was so awesome in the movie theater!! Plus I have a thing for dramatic music with drums. Drums in the deep is also one of my favorite parts from the books. I absolutely love it how the music goes from the all dramatic drum and choir to that sweet and sad vocalisation in the end. Definatly deserved that oscar.

definetly.i like it when the camera does that huge roaming shot of going down into sarumans pits and you see all of the orcs mining and things. the drums there are awesome and then when it changes to gandalf on top of othanc with the choir voices in the background-thats amazing.oh hang on..thats what you just said.

No, I was talking about the scene in Moria. But the music and filmtechniques they used in Orthanc were brilliant as well!

I don't have the CD. But I taped the academy awards. So whenever I want to listen to the music I turn on the VCR and whatch Enya sing it with movie clips in the background. Granted it's not the whole song but hey, it's better than nothing.

I want to play in the soundtrack orchestra.
The music is so powerful and it wouldn't be as if you'd hear me playing my violin, I'd just be at the very back of the seconds enjoying it. I have a real thing for drums and also when a choir is singing, not lyrics, but just the tune along with the orchestra. A very good example is 'True Love's First Kiss' on the Shrek soundtrack. It gave me goosebumps, as did 'The Bridge of Khazad-Dum'. Powerful music is addictive.

Arenya--
When the cold of winter comes Starless night will cover day In the veiling of the sun We will walk in bitter rain But it dreams I can hear your name And in dreams we will meet again When the seas and mountains fall And we come to end of days In the dark I here a call Calling me there, I will go there And back again I did that from memory, so if I missed something, someone tell me, but I'm pretty sure I got it right.
