Gandalf was his name,

Gandalf had a good friend,
Strider by nickname,
the friend was a ranger,
to be exact a dunidane,
his forefather was Isildur,
who had big a bane,
the bane was a ring,
the ring was a tool,
devised by Sauron,
forged in the fires of mount doom,
which is a big mountain,
oft called the crack of doom,
now how did i go,
from Gandalf to the cracks of doom?,
I'm really confused,
and i hope you are too!
