She is a lovely ship, Fat Middle. Thanks for the picture, since my memory sort of failed me there for a minute. I watched some of the tall ships on TV, but since I was cooking too, I missed parts of it. I also thought the Eagle was very fine, as was Amistad. I'll bet a voyage on any one of them would just be a dream!
Just don't want to puke into the wind, lol :P
Otherwise, we grilled lots of unfit holiday edibles, ate, and watched Independence Day on video (it seemed like a good idea, what can I say). Wanted to go and see fireworks, but it was just too blasted hot here, so we watched the ones in New York on TV.

are you sure that you would want to sail on them? going through storms and having to sleep in tiny hammocks. Mostly only eating fish. It might be fun! :lol: : too bad i don't like fish

Oh absolutely! Man, that would be just fine with me. Of course, I like fish.

Fat middle, because i wanted to see that ship, (well i wanted to go back and see all of the ships that i missed) I went back to NY with my mom. It was so CROWDED!!! So we just went on 3 tall ships (if you want to know which ones, ask) and 1 small boat. The Elcano was at pier 88 (which was right next to us) but we were at pier 86 (near the Intreped) and the line for pier 88 was LONG. Sice it was close by, I could see the Elcano perfectly! It was annoying because i couldn't go on it.... I really wanted to go on it because fat middle talked about it well anyway , we also saw it sail away (probally because of the tides, it didn't even set sail , it used the motor.). We went to the Intreped museum which was cool. It was HUGE!! We almost got lost in it. They also had dementstrations (like cool parachutting , harrier jets , a pretend helecoptor mission) it was cOOL but, i could go on all day, so i won't. I had a fun day..

i have seen it a lot of times at Cadiz, and i can tell you it´s even nicer from inside...

but, well, at least you could see it
