I'm intrigued by a post-Sauron Mordor. Will anything be done to restore the land?

My favourite place is Rohan. The people, landscape, language, and culture appeal to me a great deal.

I also like Mirkwood, because I love trees and all that is good and bad about a forest. Plus I admire to Elves of Mirkwood for making a go of it without one of the Three, and with Sauron for a neighbour.

I think Mithlond for me. Lots of history and the lovely northwest seaside.

I thought so...But I dunno. Its a toss up between Harad and Rivendell. Though the elves kinda knock it down a tad for me. Buncha snoots...

And I like Rohan, but am kinda bugged that they dont have a written language or anything really. Not exactly the most intellectual of places. But it suits me. Fights and horses.

But snoots who provide nice scenery. Imladris would be the place to go for eye-candy.

And arm candy... Anyways, I can picture them being a sophisticated cafe type thing. Elrond actually does look good in a barrette.

Give me a Gimli with his beard tied in blue ribbons, and maybe a Gloin with a bonnet. You keep your nasty elves.

I prefer dwarves. I mean, their hospitality is my style Beer, meat off the bone! But I do want to be able to talk about other things than just smithing and axe work and mining once a millenium.

I would have to go with Gondor or Rohan (if anyone cares for my opinion.) Gondor's armor is more my style newayz. All the elves end up just ditching everything and going into the West and leaving their cites in a state of decline and all that good mess, so it really wouldn't be all that nice by the time you got there, would it?
Maybe none of that made sense, but.... oh well.

Okay, I've changed my mind on where I'd want to live in ME. It's Henneth Annun. Here's why,

Quote:
They stood on a wet floor of polished stone, the doorsteps, as it were, of a rough-hewn gate of rock opening dark behind them. But in front a thin veil of water was hung, so near that Frodo could have put an outstretched arm into it. It faced westward. The level shafts of the setting sunbeat upon it, and the red light was broken into many flickering beam of ever-changing color. It was if they stood at the window some elven-tower, curtained with threaded jewels of silver and gold, and ruby, sapphire and amethyst, all kindeled with an unconsuming fire.
Ahhh, to call that home.
