Another thing I'm noticing... long borders! Original RISK sort of 'funnels' you into and out of each continent (except Asia - hence the difficulty in holding it). Not so with the LOTR version. And there are not such simple, direct paths for moving a massed army efficiently through all the ME territories (either that or I don't see them yet).

Yes - and Evil starts with 7 of the 11 strongholds.

I have to finish reading the rules to see the implications of Team RISK.

I really like the rulebook, if you know how to play regular Risk, you don't read the part that's not highlighted. I thought that was cool. And it should be easier to play evil, it's easier to be evil in real life than it is to be good.
