Dont tell me what I cannot do

Two men are on a Island, they both see a "monster", one sees a bright light, and the other sees a dark cloud

My name bares no reference to the music artist.

Narvi made them and Celebrimbor drew the Ithilin signs on the door.

so the dwarves didn't have anything to do with the making of their own doors?

Probably supplied the material and some workers. I seriously doubt Narvi did it all alone. Anyway, it was a symbolic event: the dwarves showed, by allowing the elves to design/build the entrance to their realm that they trusted them, thus trying to repair the damage done by Thingol and his smiths.

Are you sure? Funny thing, I was always thinking Narvi was a Dwarf, the name doesn't sound Elvish at all.

Yay, I knew it! *maniacal victory laughter*

The Doors of Moria was a partnership between elves (Celebrimbor) and Dwarves (Narvi)! The reason I asked in the first place is because a friend in real life asked about it, because she said the writing on the doors looked Elvish.
