A-ha! A thread for the truly sad like me.

I see there are a few Warcraft afficionados here. I've got III but haven't really got into it yet. It seems a bit clunky compared with II, and the missions and quests seem pretty linear. Am I missing something?

ah, its not geeky! That game is amazing.
It's not actually that hard. As soon as you level up a bit you can get going onto the main quest. The hardest thing is trying not to just do other stuff. It took me a few months to complete.

Half-life is a cool game. I hate the Zen world at the end but it's a fun game. Not played it for ages actually.

Yes, I play computer games.
Currently, I only have Diablo 2. I really only do it when I have nothing else to do, just because after a few hours of playing I feel as if I'm being lazy and wasting my time. I like to be more productive. But it is a fun game.
I also like Warcraft.
I used to have Axis and Allies, Red Baron, Shannara, and Kings Quest.

Kings Quest? Which one? I think I had number 4 (the one with the girl and dwarves )...

I used to play Diablo, but my former comp wasn't good enough to play it on (which meant that it went sloooowly...).

Um..... I think it was the first one. It was awhile ago and I never played it very much. I think I got annoyed for dying all the time.

Yea, Diablo's no fun when the comp is too slooow (well any game for that matter) Is your comp good enough now?

My description wasn't exactly great. I'm sure there are a lot of nuclear-alien type games out there. Half-live is, of course, the best of all of those. I look back on my Half-life playing days with fondness.

Blizzard games (WarCraft, StarCraft, Diablo) are getting lots of mentions here, which is good because they are all

South Korea is insane about Blizzard games, StarCraft especially. They have regular tournaments for cash prizes, and the people who win them become national heroes, with their faces on the sides of pepsi cans and roles in tv ads.

Falling off those cliffs was really annoying (one wrong step and you were dead).
Yes, it's good enough now (by far) but I can't find the CD anymore.

Warcraft has got some competition in the RTS-genre, finally: Spellforce (to get to know more about it, check out www.spellforce.com ).
