Hi, I stopped by to answer a private message and saw the new rules post. I suggest you enforce the rules. I engaged in a fairly civil debate on the Victimless Crimes thread, only to be personally attacked by the board's most immature and unpleasant poster, Beard of Pants. (see Victimless Crimes, page 8, Bop's unedited post directed to Lizra) Entmoot was described as "Friendly". Allowing verbal bullies to attack people only inhibits free speech and will cause people to leave.

Really? Well you're doing it quite well. Where would this board be if we all had something better to do? So what's the fuss over anything else in the rules. Basically they seem very civilized as written if not practiced.

The problem in the "Victimless Crimes" thread was brought to the attention of the administration in the moderator forum FYI Lizra, and any grievances that may still exist between you two ladies should be settled off the board in either PMs or E-mails. Not here. I suggest that if you can not reach a happy medium, then maybe you should avoid each other altogether. These forums are for the entertainment of it's members, not for members to grind axes over topics that they do not agree on.

I agree with you also SGH. If you read the VC page, the debate was finished, an actual truce called. It was BoP who kept grinding the ax. I will be happy to avoid her, but this is the second time she has personally attacked me. That's why I mentioned the enforcement.

Good to be back. Yup, I own a speciality toy store, classic toys and games. No computer stuff or video games. Marbles, wind ups etc. I am working on a new web site shopuld be up in the next week.

Sorry to be so off topic. The new rules make sense to me. It's very good to have them written out... less nonsense concerning stupid behaviors.
