ohhhh, alright. by the way, i've got this internet comic saved to favorites, which is loosely based on FF 1 here. it's brilliant.

You know what? I really *hated* X - I kept waiting for the game proper to start, but then I read that the linear-ity stayed with it right 'til the almost-end, so I stopped playing. I loved 7 and 8 though - they were so epically HUGE. I just wished that X was a bit less linear; it's a shame, cos I really liked how you upgraded your levels in X, and I really liked a lot of the characters.

yer, that bit was a bit annoying. do you know something. you're one of the few people who actually likes 8. what do you like about it? i like that fact that if you play your cards right ( ) then you can get the ultimate wepons for practically everybody by the end of the first disk.

My favourite is 7 but 8 is right up there too. 7 is just too awesome. I've played through the Japanese version too. I like 8 a lot but I can see how it would be disliked. I think drawing is a pain in the ass and there are some plot issues but other than that I really like the game.
Oh, has anyone played 12 yet? 'Cause I have. |

I didn't really have that much time so I only played it for like an hour but it seemed pretty cool. The story kinda reminded me of tactics. The fighting, in the parts I played, was like it didn't change screen like in other FFs- you just fought on the same screen. You picked an enemy and said attack and it does it automatically when your time bar filled up as long as you were standing close to it unless you picked something else. The graphics of course were beautiful. That's about all I remember of it... I think I sent it over in a box so it should be here in about a month or so and if I can find a PS that I can play foreign games on I'll play it again.

Earlier this year I played through the first game in the series - Final Fantasy I. Well actually, it was a new, coloured version of the game for Game Boy Advance. I'm going to beat Final Fantasy II some day soon too.
The old two-dimensional games in the Final Fantasy genre are still worth playing, if you're a fan.

Greetings. I'm relatively new here, so you might not know me. I am Tuinor. But to be more on subject, I have never had the opportunity to finish a Final Fantasy game. However I have finished and loved the Kingdom Hearts games which are sort of like spin-offs. Still, I have loved every taste of Final Fantasy I've gotten, so I'll hang around for awhile.
