I like those books. I like Ax, he's cool. I like Tobias too but
probably just because hes unusual. I like strange things and
being a human in a hawks body is definately strange.

Ax was my favorite. My favorite scene with him has to be the time Marco telling the story abou how he was going through the mall and found a crowd around the cinnamon bun place. He decides to bug a pretty girl an SHE tells him that SOMEONE was crazy enough to try to eat and entire pan of buns. Ax did not yet know that peoples stomachs have a finite limit.

Astellian nobles don't exert themselves in any way, so they have no concept of human endurance. The serfs take advantage of that outrageously. Astellian serfs have been known to collapse from sheer exhauston at the very mention of such unpleasant words as 'reaping' or 'digging'."

I'm pretty much off of my Animorphs kick, but I like all of the characters, especially Rachel.
"Let's do it!"- I luv that line! Can anyone tell me how many of the series there is now? And have the Animorphs won, or the Yeerks? 'Cus I don't read these much anymore. But I luv #'s 26, 25, 6, 1, 2, 15, 16, 10, & 11. Guess I'm not really over the Animorphs quite yet. Later.....

About which side won, well, see, that's a question none of us can answer. The last book in the series ended with a blasted cliffhanger!! And it being the last in the series, we will never find out who won. It really bites, but I'm sure K.A. had a good reason.

Oh, and I'm sure that the series has a little over 60 books now right? Correct me if I'm wrong.

I was really into Animorphs for a while. But I swear, I knew that Elfangor was related to Tobias. Probably because I was into Star Wars before that... ("Luke...I AM your father....")

My favorite characters have to be Tobias and Ax. Gotta love the alien!

I found the series bad, but they were making her get one out every month, so who can blame her? I liked the things she did on her own time.

That is true. It did seem as though they were coming out rather quickly. Now that I've read them over, I find her writing to be a bit simple.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. I stopped reading them because I just lost intrest in the way she wrote. I still loved the idea, but her writing just couldn't quite hold my interest. And they were coming out way to fast for me to keep up.

The font was a little big too, I had to back up and read it. I'm used to smaller print nowadays.

Yes, me, too. I'm used to smaller print these days.

I've read a few Animorphs books. They're not my favourite, but they're OK. I've never bothered to pick up from where I left off, but nowadays I don't think I'd be interested in them anymore.

oh, i sold all my animorph books and a bunch of other older childrens books that I have outgrown. I only kept some of my younger books.

sold animorphs, jedi apprentice series, star trek academy series, among others

at least i got like $30 or something for all of them. it's not like I'm ever going to read them again.

Ok, I'll admit it. I went through a HUGE phase around 3rd/4th grade where I LOVED these books. Blame Laurelyn, she got me started. Never read 'em in order. I've definitely outgrown them by now.
