Some are, some aren't - depends on the recipe.
I've got a good simple one that uses ingredients that are typically on-hand, if you'd like it

*wheeze*
*cough cough* Damn illness. On the plus side, I got to make pumpkin pie today. It's a crazy story. So after I get home from school yesterday, I sit on the couch and drink tea from about 4pm to 10pm. Then I go stir crazy. I start walking around the house in my robe looking for... something. At 11pm it dawns on me, I want pie. This is a loud revelation. But my sweetie boyfriend puts me to bed instead because that's what I really need. Still, from 11pm to midnight when I finally got to sleep, I whined about pie. So I came home from school today and I MADE PIE! I am thrilled*. *(even though I messed up the crust) Last edited by klatukatt : 02-06-2009 at 12:54 AM. Reason: spaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaace |

Ya know, piecrust is like that fishing bumpersticker.
A bad piecrust is still better than a good day without one.

Beautiful?! If Sauron was ever interested in maths instead of world domination, he would have thought up integrals. They are evil, I tell you.

Sauron must have been aweful at mathematics! He actually thought one was greater than nineteen.

We got back from choir tour yesterday, and after four days in hotel rooms I realized that JUST CLEAN ISN'T ENOUGH. I MUST DEJUNK EVERY INCH OF THIS ROOM BEFORE I STAB MYSELF IN THE FACE!!!!!!!
So I spent three hours doing that last night, and I'm going to finish it today BECAUSE IT NEEDS DOING. o_O Apparently choir tours activate my OCD. Who knew? |

I passed my test It's a miracle. Either that or it was a bad test. I think the latter. I'm going to complain about it
Oh, funny trainstory: I have to travel to school by train and when we were going back, the ticketman (how do you call him in English?) was checking tickets a few seats down the isle. Suddenly he comes walking towards us, looking in the baggagespace till he found a newspaper. He walks back, puts the newspaper on the floor and goes down on one knee in front of a lady! So the people around me where all wondering if he was proposing or something, teehee. The real explanation was that the lady had dropped her ticket and the man helped her look for it on the floor under her seat. We were all rather surprised though! Oh, and I went out with my classmates/friends for the last time to celebrate the end of our examperiod and to mourn the breaking up of our class. We had a high tea party in a teaparlour. It was fun

That's excellent.
Here's a toast to bad tests, since we can't toast to your actual success.

If you have to ask, you've never been to a proper wake.

I want that goblet. Though, I have a silver and gold equivalent, it does not have glass, just solid silver and gold.
*tackle glomps for select few, and snuggles (with anti-germ suit) for Katt. I really can't afford to get sick now.* I'm exhausted, sore and want to shoot something. Either that or go fishing.

Thanks Sis! We can still use it to celebrate the end of my examperiod though. Or the start of my major in Primary Education. I wonder what it would be like to teach a class of young geniuses. I think I might enjoy that. I could teach them English or Japanese at a young age in the form of games. I like games. I could make boardgames in Japanese for them. (I actually did that in Japan, so we could play Dutch games with Japanese people)
