In this place will I abide, and my heirs, unto the ending of the world.'

'Then Tuor arrayed himself in the hauberk, and set the helm upon his head, and he girt himself with the sword; black were sheath and belt with clasps of silver. Thus armed he went forth from Turgon's hall, and stood upon the high terraces of Taras in the red light of the sun. None were there to see him, as he gazed westward, gleaming in silver and gold, and he knew not that in that hour he appeared as one of the Mighty of the West, and fit to be father of the kings of the Kings of Men beyond the Sea, as it was indeed his doom to be; but in the taking of those arms a change came upon Tuor son of Huor, and his heart grew great within him. And as he stepped down from the doors the swans did him reverence, and plucking each a great feather from their wings they proffered them to him, laying their long necks upon the stone before his feet; and he took the seven feathers and set them in the crest of his helm, and straightway the swans arose and flew north in the sunset, and Tuor saw them no more.' -Of Tuor and his Coming to Gondolin

Yes, his name's Dave. We have this tendency to give everything a name at our home. And it helps to keep both computers apart. (The other one is named Willie by the way.)

Anyway, the time on Dave was 04-02-03 1:00. All we have to do is find out in which timezone afro-elf is and we'll know for sure.

My other degrees are non-science and I have not had a real science class in about 14 years. I want to be competent at my new career and because I work full time I need to buckle down beacuse I want to go in stronger than a complete novice.

I just got a typing tutor, so maybe when I learn how to type I can post more often because I wil be faster.

OK - I'm gonna jump on AE's bandwagon & say tata all. It's been a lot of fun, but I've got to cut my time here a lot & for now I guess this is bye. Though maybe not a permanent bye - I might pop in from time to time (if I get my life sorted)

Enjoy & behave yerselves

I'd volunteer but I've lost the power to corrupt anyone other than myself.

Hmm...Anduril's gone, or I think he might be good...
Maybe Lizra with her bicycle boy fetish, but that whole "shield of Light and Goodness" thing kinda discounted her...
Well...I guess we'll just have to wait till someone volunteers.

You want a new corruptor? Ask Sailor Saiya-Elf, she's been corrupting me non-stop for about a year now. Just yesterday, we were sitting in a movie (What a Girl Wants, since you ask) and she was being a slasher and mucking up about every single line they said! It's just impossible to watch a thing like that with her.
Oh yes, and I'm sad you're leaving. :'(
