We didn't start the war They were always raiding Since Melkor went stealing We didn't start the war No we didn't wage it Feanor's oath did it Palantiri, One Ring, Fellowship, Return of King Shelob, Olog-hai, Easterlings attack from nigh Beren, Luthien, Thingol had his Melian Sauron, Carcaroth, killed Huan and both were lost Saruman, Olorin, Radagast where have you been? Samwise, Pippin, Merry did the Morgul in Angband, Mordor, Beleriand near the shore Dagorlad, Morgulvale, Udun it does makes me pale! We didn't start the war They were always raiding Since Melkor went stealing We didn't start the war No we didn't wage it Feanor's oath did it Shadowfax , Asfaloth, Snowmane, and Bill is no sloth Eastfold, Westfold, Oh Rohan You had been told. We didn't start the war They were always raiding Since Melkor went stealing We didn't start the war No we didn't wage it Feanor's oath did it Erebor, Mount Doom, Treebeard's voice went with a boom There's Ghan-Buri-Ghan, in the forest dwelt his clan Tol Eressea, Barrow Downs, Gollum's such a weird clown Glorfindel, Arwen, will PJ change plot again? JRR thinks he's Beren, Buried with his Luthien Christopher's H.O.M.E, I got to save some money! We didn't start the war They were always raiding Since Melkor went stealing We didn't start the war No we didn't wage it Feanor's oath did it Do Balrogs have got wings? kids like to debate these things Valinor, Undying Lands, Elves are safe in Cirdan's hands Ents took over Isengard, Huorns beat orcs when off their guard Denethor just lost his mind, Gondor is in such a bind 'Wonder where's the Gulf of Lhun, 'better get my map soon East Farthing Far Downs, Hobbits won't go out of town Man in the Moon Came down to Soon, Shire folk sure enjoyed that tune Periannath, Halflings, Hobbits killed the Lord of Rings! That one needn't a central theme
Though a bit of rhyming it did seem With Robert Foster's Guide to Middle Earth I was able to come up with material and some mirth It's an abridged one I do admit The last few stanzas just wouldn't fit Maybe later I will add them If there aren't many a problem

I know this is REALLY rubish but hey,
I made up this to keep the boredon monsters at bay. I can't wait to be King by Elton John (I think.) I hope you like it ..... I'm now off to get a drink!!!!!!! Aragorn: I’m gonna be the man of YOU, So Frodo do not stare. Frodo: You never used to be like this man, You used to be quite fair, Aragorn: I wanna be a mighty King, like there was no other before, And when I get rid of this dumb ring, I will rule Gondor. Frodo : So far I wish I was on a Nazguls wing, Aragorn: Oh I just can’t wait to be kkkkiiiiinnng. No one saying “Strider”, (hated that name) No one saying “Estel” (What was mom thinking?) No annoyed Elrond, (hated that man) No more Rivendell. (nothing to do) Free to sleep without Sam’s snores, Sam: ! I don’t snore that loud!) Aragorn: Free from all the Elven w****s. Frodo: I know that when I left with Sam, I broke your manly heart… Kings don't need pep talks From little hobbits for a start Frodo: If this is where middle earth is headed, Count me out! I’ll keep the ring for myself, Of that I have no doubt! Sam: This bloke is getting slightly anoooyyiinnggggggg…. Aragorn: Oh I just can’t wait to be king! I have a big chin cleft, My skin needs to see light, I quite like Frodo, There’s advantages to his height. Let every Hobbit try and steal the ring, Now I see her, Arwen is a bit ming’ Galadriel’s gonna be my greatest fling…… Oh, I just can't wait to be king! Oh, I just can't wait to be king! Oh, I just can't waaaaaait ... to be king

haha! You both made me laugh with glee,
now here is my little rhyming scheme: (to tune of CCR's 'Down on the Corner') Early in the evenin' Just about supper time, Over down in Hobbiton They're startin to unwind, 4 hobbits on a journey tryin' to free Middle Earth Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pip Off to prove their worth. (Chorus) From down in the Shire Unlikely for a hero to be, Frodo and the Hobbits are travelin' to the pits of misery. A dark hooded stranger intercepts them in Bree. 'We can't wait for Gandalf, and I'm Strider," says he. On to see Elrond at Rivendell so blessed. Call upon the Council to determine what is next. (C) Off to the Dark Lord's And Isengard's misery The Fellowship is travelin' through Moria To destroy that nasty Ring. -perhaps I'll add more later.

My goodness, these are quite funny
With all the rhymes- of course I shall not flee (although I haven't the foggiest idea why I would be expected to)

I've been working on this other thing
I based it on a song by Sting While THE POLICE call their's King of Pain I call this one King in Vain There's a little slimy thing near the Anduin's rage That's Gollum out there With the same old ring from the Second Age That's my Ring out there There's a hobbit nearly cornered in weathertop That's Frodo up there There's a line of nine people that just won't stop With my Ring out there I have stood here razing all the orcs in vain With that babbling wizard talking to my brain I guess they're hoping that I won't again reign But it's my destiny to once again cause pain There's a Balrog and wizard that in Moria did fall There's a noble captain that got killed near the falls There's a halfling I saw, did the white wizard ebb? There's a hobbit and an elf near Shelob's web There's a king with a stone and his eye's looking out There's a demented steward whom I lent much doubt There's a tall man raising a fell army of dead There's my captain choking oh what more could be said? There's a miniscule army and the numbers they lack There's a great horde waiting for my word to attack There's a little round ring I misplaced today It's the same old ring from yesterday I have stood here razing all the orcs in vain With that babbling wizard talking to my brain I guess they're hoping that I won't again reign But it's my destiny to just die in vain…… I'll always be king in vain..............
