It does sound spectacular. Too bad we have far less fireworks than that here, given that private possession of them is illegal in my state.

[Edit] Happy New Year everyone!

Isn't it really late/early there in Canada now?

If you're drunk I can't tell much of a difference from your normal posts.

Happy New Years Day, everyone! *yawn*

Does anyone else always make those little mini hotdogs wrapped with biscuit dough, then dipped in mustard, to eat while watching football? Yum!

The dough that makes biscuits!

Biscuits...round breadish things you eat with dinner, not cakey like muffins, not yeasty like bread, just a flakey flour based bun like thing, not sweet...savory. Take some dough, wrap a bit around a little hot dog, bake it and call it "Pigs (pork in the hot dog) in a blanket" (the bisquit dough) Not very swank, but most guys like them.

Aha! I am familiar with something similar that the brits do with sausages in bread or something - can't remember what they call them, something like pigs in a blanket....

Over here, biscuits are cookies - that's why I was confused... I was imagining hotdogs dipped in cookie dough or something!

Oh yeah, I forgot how biscuits are cookies to many people

Yes, it's basically spicy little hot dogs wrapped in bread, then you dip 'em in mustard - yum!

Jeez, all you people need to come to the South and order biscuits and gravy or just get a biscuit and put gravy or syrup on it. You don't know what you're missing.

I was a little busy last night (drinking my Welch's Sparkling Grape juice) and didn't get a chance to 'moot because I was dead tired by the time I got home, which was around 1 AM. All this is my roundabout way of saying "Happy New Year!"

In my family Pigs in Blankets/Jackets are hot cocktail sauages wrapped in bacon. We have them with Christmas dinner.

When my mother wanted to tease me she would say I was turning southerner or Hoosier because I like biscuits and gravy.
