moooo, death time.
Any death scenes you particularyly like? What if we made Ecthilion pull a "black knight" and lose both his arms so he has to ram Godmod with his head?

Ah, somebody posts! I was starting to think I had scared everyone off with my drama.
Pulling a black knight. Mjeah, that sounds interesting... Incidentally Ecthelion rams Godmod with his head in the book too. And then there is the death scene of Maeglin, and since he's falling of a cliff, maybe something Monty Python-ish too? The scene on the bridge with the questions? We might be able to use that. But now and foremost we need people to POST IN THE GAME THREAD!

Que?
Most everyone dies. Do you want to die? It is always fun to have a death scene. then you can come back later as a different character. *Evil Grin* Anyway, I was going to post Maegelin *fkingspelling* his death, but I have to go put clothes on.

IIRC, we need RYT to kill Maeglin, Turgon to defy the entire army of Morgoth, and RYT to try to rescue him.
No?

Define "help." Post about it if you like, but I have a feeling it will happen regardless.

Not death, the un-death, or pre-death, or how-not-to-let-him-have-a-death, or let-him-have-a-heroic-death-scene-when-at-the-last-minute-save-him-and-oh-what-is-the-problem-we-did-it-with-other-character's-death.

Naaah, just kill him off properly as he's supposed to.
I was thinking... (yes,I happen to do that from time to time) since Ecthelion had 'black knight' death, I was thinking whether we couldn't do Glorfy's death in the manner of that Monty Python-scene with the bridge and the questions. "What is your quest?" where the answer tends to be followed by "Aaaaaaah!!" that sort of thing.

Trust Maggie to do away with all our 'we're not allowed to change anything'-premise!
There might be repercussions..... Anyway, I take it is time again to plan ahead? According to the old plot line Eärendil's tale is next. So if my memory serves me right, we'll head for the mouths of the Sirion where Idril and Tuor set up town and where we're joined by Elwing and her remnant of people from Doriath. Incidentally, did we do the destruction of Doriath already? The memory has gone foggy...

*peeks out from under the table where she's been hiding*
I'm doomed aren't I? Yes of course I am, I broke the rules. My only defense is that it was done at the character's request. He didn't want to die again. I couldn't kill him off in the face of that could I? It would've been too cruel... Um, yeah, Katt seems to want to chase us around and punish us for Glor's non-death so... there we go.
