BoP - you know - instead of wasting our time hoping that newbies will read the stickies or view this handy educational video - we should elect someone to be the new newbie hater and take tater's place and his second in command - CBG. Anyone who has come onto entmoot without having experienced Tater's rants about idiot newbies is missing out on the true entmoot.

I may have briefly overlapped with Darth Tater, but I didn't see any of his rants. I would have been a newbie then too. I feel deprived... not getting called a st00pid n00b.

Maybe I'll browse the archives...

Great video BoP! Why didn't I get that when I joined, learning would have been so much faster.

The video should have a forum abbreviation dictionary:

)

Yes - pretty much no matter how many times you had read the books BEFORE joining entmoot - mine being 12 times - you were still lumped in with the "movie newbies" group. Although he did think that other newbies were more annoying than others and let them know publicly on the board what he thought of them.

I know some here would never have have survived the wrath of tater.

No- you joined Aug 2002. The movies came out Dec 2001 - when I joined.
