As a childhood devotee of the Jennings books, my vocabulary was enriched by such gems as:
Fossilised fish hooks! Crystalised cheesestraws! Petrified paintpots! And things of that nature.

I usually say The fouth letter - the first letter - the thirteenth letter followed by the fourteenth one but writing it here might be seemed inappropriate or what say ye?

It's damn, right?

I got one from the camel one.
May the camels of Far Harad devour your toe. Not a very good one, but that's all I could think of.

May all your sons be bishops. Has no-one here heard of Roger's Profanisaurus? If not, I strongly recommend typing those words into a well-known search engine and seeing how long you can keep a straight face. * goes back to nappies * |

Well, I don't know where to put this, but I got a new word for "cool"
It is: "Module." Don't ask me where I got that. I know, but I wouldn't tell you!

Watch A Cristmas Story. When Ralphie's old man is beating the furnace back into working condition, he's hollering profanities at it like a madman, and one of the phrases he yells at it is "platapus nut-grabber!" That first caught my ear on about the sixth time I watched the movie, and I laughed pretty hard. Ah, is it just in NJ that people use freaking/friggin in pace of the dreaded F-word?
