The thing that one should understand about the Sting replicas, is that they are a fantasy knife. Because of this they do not make the blades with many other metals besides SS, such as the high-carbon blades for tactical and fighting knives. They also are not meant for every day use. I for one do not have enough money to take my replica out and perform a destruction test on it. I do know from experiance from other knives made out of the relatively same materials that it more than likely would shatter at the base of the blade if you tried to see how flexible it is. Also, with such a thick blade (1/4") it probably wouldn't flex no matter what metal it was made from.

I'd like a contract from their set designers for a replica of Bag End in our lot just beside our house (plus water taps and electricity and cable network and tv)
I'd also want a piece of every race and character shown in the film: Uruk-hai slime or tooth Saruman's and Gandalf locks hobbit foot hair orc tooth etc. morgul hilt would be nice but I definitely want a full set of Elven hair plus the bow! hmm.. am planning a concept museum...me thinks |

Lets see...
What do I want? The 20 Rings... Everyone's costumes, esp. the Nazgul... Everyone's weapons... Bag End, Rivendell and Lothlorien... The Phial of Galadriel... Everything else from the movie.... But I think that most of all I'd like a Mallorn and a seedling of the White Tree of Gondor to grow in my backyard

I'm with play girl on the shards of narsil.
Also, although not featured in the film (yet I hope!) I'd like the Elendelmir (sp?). OK, there are two of them. I'd like the original |

Well, too bad this is about taking props home and not the characters. I'd like the entire human-size set of Bag End. The big one they used when shooting the hobbits to make them look smaller. How I'd get it onto my lot is a big question. And if sets aren't included in props, how about Legolas' weapons? Those twin long-knives are wicked and the bow Galadriel gives him is so beautiful.

The one ring would be cool...I am trying to persuade my fiance to buy me one as a wedding ring...I showed him the website, and he said it looked good, but when I told him what the script on it meant, he was a little less keen...I wonder why that could be? If I did get it though, I would also like Arwen's dress to get married in.
Other than that, i wouldn't mind a scale reporduction of the pillars at Argonath, but for me they would have to be real rock so that I could climb them...now that would be thebuzz of a lifetime! |

Also, I can see the vows now:
With this Ring I thee control To have and to hold To dominate and abuse In sickness, in health and in torture In this Age and the next. Not quite so nice! |

Hmm...If I was to have a ME wedding, and could use props from the movie, I'd get married in Rivendale, but with Galadriel's dress...yay!
I actually want a medieval wedding, but that's at least ten years in the future. |

I would like one of those large mallorn trees, complete with living quarters, plus a smaller mallorn, with a modest vacation flet.

How about an ME prom? all the girls at my school usually end up barefot by the end of the night anywayand if I got my mithril coat then all I'd need is a poofy silver skirt and I'd be all set!

Well, I'd marry anyone who looks like Arwen, Eowyn, Galadriel etc.
Not necessarily as the film depicts them (not a fan of Liv Tyler!), but as my imagination does them justice! So my prop from FotR would be a wife |

i like raggamuffin's idea... i always wanted a treehouse but maybe i could have gollum as a little pet... but then i'd need the Precious. shadowfax would be cool (maybe he's not mentioned until TT movie?) but not a big fan of horses (esp. big ones!) so maybe i could have legolas' hair (i really hate it when guys have better hair then me!)
