Dr Dre is just using the same shock tactics with Eminem that he used with NWA years ago..........its just a shame a whole new generation are falling for that crap...........it was boring then

Never personally listened to Eminem, but I have to say that I never had a urge to. Never actually listened to a song with curse words in it. Not even close. I have never been a fan of rap myself (quote: Rap is a bunch of incomprehensible words strung together by sometimes passing music, therefore making the rapper rich ~ Me unquote.) Gimmie Enya or Zoegirl any day.

i think Eminems ok. some people i know say he's got a really stupid way of seeing things, but i say it's a different view! one of my friends fancies him, so that proves that some like him, some hate him (i love his new single though!

) plus he's better than 'The Cheeky Song' by THe Cheeky Girls!

in all fairness i think eminem is quite good with his lyric stan was a great song as it delt with an issue. He does talk about himself a bit and how people percive him but doesnt all music refelt the way someone is it is just extenusuated in rap.

i dont think hes ever written a song like all the rest going im a stud in bed i come from.......! i mean all dres song are about his name and wheres hes from.

As for Ja Rule he just anoyes me.

I think I respect the fact that he doesn't have any pretensions about the lyrics he writes/sings. He just sings what he wants, and he got rich because of it. I personally don't like his music, most of it's depressing, and when it's not depressing it's hard to understand.

Besides, I'm not that big of a rap fan. *gag*

I don't have much to say for his older stuff, but I really enjoy his new songs. I think he's matured quite a bit as an artist.

Toy Soldiers, for example, is quite a good and thoughtful song.
