This really stinks, people. Everyone I know is sick. (Including ME!

) I hate, hate, HATE being sick! *cough*Miserable! *cough*Advice to any other bedridden mooters: TAKE VITAMIN C!!*blows nose* Ugh!

Why me?

Why me?

That seems to be the way this stuff works. My brother had it, my son had it, and now me. It seems to start out with fever, chills, body aches, upset stomach and headache. Then it turns into this horrific respiratory infection where all you do is cough and cough and cough. the conjestion is tight and deep, and then, after all the coughing, you are exhausted and your chest and throat hurts.

I had it last month.Same symptoms too.

The coughing was TERRIBLE,and really wet..........ug..........

jfishannah, i can sympathize...
i feel so exhausted from coughing, the headache, writhing in my bed from pain....
but i feel much better now....

Marvelous. Hence my few-days absence. Looking at a computerscreen alone already gave me me a headache and my eyes felt as bulgy as frog-eyes. The coughing, the extremely sore throat, 39,2°C, ..... I got my part of it all. A good thing I got to sleep through it for a large part. I think I was only awake for 4 hours on sunday, and those were the worst of course. i cant imagine....
i was up all night, every night. writhing in pain, choking on my coughs.

I've had something for a week now. It just won't get out of my nose!

I'm so tired too. 135 kids were absent today at my daughter's high school. They call it a respiratory flu, I don't know, but I guess I'll go to the dr. tomorrow. (like I'll really be able to get in to see him!

they had to close two schools in they where i live, becuase of the flu.
its getting bad....

It is Robitussin CF

Controls coughs, chest congestion and clears nasal stuffiness. Also relieves other symptoms.

Tastes pretty crappy, but it works.

Actually the coughing then was only minor. The fever, sore throat and the headache kept me from doing anything but sleeping. There's only so much you can do when you can't see, hear or say anything for long.

The coughing only really took off when the fever disappeared, I've been coughing all night yesterday. It's very nasty, when it feels like your coughing up your entire longs and airways.
