I stole that from my friend for a night and beat it in 3 and a half hours with Legolas. It's entertaining.

I like RPG, adventure, fighting (only if it's not all blood and gore and there's a point to it) racing, and sometimes the odd sports game. My top 5 favorite video game list stands as thus:

1) every Legend of Zelda game
2) Super Smash Bros.
3) Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (for GBC)
4) Wailae (sp?) Country Club (a golfing game. Sadly, I'm addicted)
5) Hamtaro: Ham-Hams Unite! (sadly)

Some other honorable mentions are Mario Kart 64, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (GBC) and, unfortunately, both Pokemon Yellow and Silver (don't knock the games until you've tried them XD)

For all the RPGs out there, my favourite of all time remains EarthBound...

I like Rpgs and have played only two MMORPG's Ultima Online and DAoC.... I play neither of them now (I quit). I like DnD games like NWN and Icewind Dale I & II. I also played Counter-strike and Battlefield 1942 but I haven't played them in a long long time.

I have a PS2 but I don't use it much. I have two games for PS2 - Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance and LotR: Two Towers.

By the way has anyone tried Morrowind?

I did. Never really got into it.

BoP: I was wondering if you've done any research into Shadowbane? There's really some quite interesting stuff on the Races, Classes and Professions, and some other interesting stuff about the world it is set in and the history thereof on the Chronicles of Strife webpage.

Is Shadowsbane Pay2Play? One of the reasons I haven't gotten a game like that is because I know I probably wouldn't play it enough to be worth it.

My boyfriend and I played this in two player mode. It was really fun - especially when I stole the Black Sword off him.

GW: Nope, haven't really looked into the Shadowbane thing yet, cos I've been busy with uni and stuff. I prolly should though, cos the one month free trial will be ending soon.

I assume you were referring to Dark Alliance, not Two Towers?

I don't think the free month starts when you buy it, does it? Or did you set up an account?

The BF has already set up an account, so I shall have to move speadily if I want to take advantage of the free time. I'm still dithering over what kind of character I want to be: I guess I'll be a fury or something.

I went and bought StarCraft again yesterday since my CD broke and my computer got reformatted. Now since it is the end of the year I will be playing all day in school over their network.

My favorite game genre's are FPS's and fighting games. It used to be RPG's but since there hasn't been a good RPG since Final Fantasy 7 and Tactics, I totally gave up on RPG's. My favorite FPS's are Wolfenstein and the Medal of Honor series...I spend a lot of time on these games...too much time.
Street Fighter is by far the greatest fighting game series ever. No game comes close in terms of skill, playablility, and challange. Street Fighter 3 : Third Strike is my favorite fighting game.
I also enjoy RTS like Star Craft but thats the only series I like from that genre. I think WC is ok but it's too goofy and the story seems to be a copy of Daiblo 2 and SC. Human turning to evil side? By being corrupted? (Kerrigan?) Going to the top of a mountain to save the World Tree? (World Stone?) I dunno it seems lame to me but I do like the original WC because of its setting grounds for Star Craft.

My favorite series of all time are the Mega Man / Mega Man X series. These games are legendary. Mega Man 3 is my favorite game of all time. The music is so catchy is frightens me. Anyone else a big Mega Man fan?

I recommend that you try to find an English translated version of Bahamut Lagoon. It is a really great RPG for the SNES, second only to ChronoTrigger. So you KNOW how good of an RPG I consider it to put it up there.

Love the idea, Anglorfin. (Mods, you reading this?)
I LOVE Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII. I'm really hooked on those right now. If anyone's interested, I started a thread for it.

Just as a follow up: I have a level 21 Fury (female only), a level 24 huntress (female only), and a level 11 prelate. Do I have no life, or what?
