I've never been beaten at Cheat.

I haven't heard of some of these games before... I don't suppose any one feels up to explaining how to play them? (Spoons, Egyptian Ratscrew and Killer Uno, B.S in particular - what does B.S stand for??)

Well, hullo everyone. As you can see, I don't hang out here muchly anymore. There's a good reason for this. Y'see, I've been hanging out at a different chatboard called Cardboardia. So far, I've been havin' a blast. Not that I don't love the TLA, but the magic of Entmoot is lost on me. So, as soon as TLA ends, so will my existance here, probably.

Who knows though? I might stay. Highly unlikely however. This is a good bye in advance, then. Unless you want to join me and my group of friends at Cardboardia.

Cheers!

Sheepshead, Cribbage, A**hole, Blackjack, Poker. In that order.

To ArwenEvenstar: I play Magic the Gathering, too, so I guess it does count. You play the game with cards, right? They may a little different from cards used for poker & whatnot, but they're still cards.

lol, I have nothing better to do right now so why not?

Just going to explain spoons, though: it's a cool game for 3+ people, you give each person four cards and put one less than the number of people of spoons on a table. The person that is dealing takes a card from the deck, and if they don't need it (your trying to get a set of four) they pass it to the next person. If they do decide they need it, they discard one of their other cards and give it to the next person instead, who does the same with their cards, and when it reaches the last person they put the card(s) in a discard pile. When someone DOES get four of a kind, they try to quitely take one of the spoons that are on the table, so that the others don't notice. When the other players notice (individually) that a spoon is missing (or that someone is taking a spoon), they take a spoon as well, and the person left without a spoon is the loser.

I bet that made absolutely no sense, oh well... good luck.

Adding on to Menelvagor's explanation of spoons, usually the loser has to eat a spoonful of whatever the others choose. Lots of time we mix all kinds of things together, it's ton's of fun to see the reaction on the person's face! (They don't know what they're eating by the way. )

Spit is awesome if you get two really closely matched people. It should be in the Olympics. Cribbage is great too.

Just learnt euchre, seems like a slicker version of the best card game of all: bridge

cheers

d.

PS - dice game: Maxley?
