Well.. I was born near Vaasa at the west coast of Finland, but I moved to Helsinki to study at the university: during the summers I live in Finland's southernmost city, Hanko. Not in the city really, but at a research station.. With 12 km to the nearest grocery store. Just the way I like it..

A zoological station. It's in a nature reserve, protected for scientific use - people mostly do marine biology, but I'm in a group that studies social insects, mostly ants. It's a nice place to work, I get to go out to the islands almost every day.

Sounds cool, the insect world is a vast universe of zoology
And I say this as a very ignorant person on that matter

Seattle, WA, USA, but everyone already knows that.
So, if any of yalls plan a trip to Seattle, we have a room for poor college students to rent (or stay rent free if we like you. ) |

Argh! Then NIN's tour will visit the place where you live! I want to go.. X) If I had money to make it there, I would ask to rent the room for a while.

I lived in a tiny beach town, called Praia da Vagueira; it was about a half hour away from Aveiro, and 45 minutes away from Coimbra, as I recall, though it's been several years.

I just realised the four first posters in this thread all currently live in countries that begin with 'N'! That's pretty amazing thinking how few 'N'-countries there are Now, where are the North Korean, Nicaraguan and Nigerian members?

Ummm, I lived near North-Korea for a year and was caught in the "OMG they fired a nuclear missile over Japan!" thing?

Yeah, there is a thread on the subject of North-Korea somewhere. You might be interested in that?

I am but.. really I shouldn't. Writing an essay right now, I'm supposed to focus!
Besides, the North Koreans have become kinda boring. They keep failing in delivering really dramatic news stories

As long as it works. They are getting supplies and concessions this way, aren't they? *shrugs*
But we shouldn't be chatting about it here and you should get to writing your paper. Shoo!
