I think this is it:
Spiderman, Spiderman Does whatever a spider can Spins a web, any size Catches thieves, just like flies Look out! Here comes the Spiderman! Is he strong? Listen, bud! He's got radioactive blood Can he swing from a thread? Take a look overhead Hey there, there goes the Spiderman! In the chill of night, at the scene of a crime Like a streak of light, he arrives just in time Spiderman, Spiderman Friendly neighborhood Spiderman Wealth and fame, he's ignored Action is his reward To him, life is a great big gang-up Wherever there's a hang-up You'll find the Spiderman! I love spiderman!

Cant believe nobody mentioned the best theme tune ever, Captain Bucky O Hare?! That had to be the best programme ever.
Also the theme for Trapdoor was great, anybody remember all the words? How about Family Ness, anybody remember them? McToot blows on his bagpipes while Elspeth and Angus watch those notes go floating across the waves Ferocious Ness appears at once and grabs a note or two for lunch and the whole of the family ness is not too far behind cant remeber the rest of the words, can anybody help out? xx xx |

MacToot blows on his bagpipes While Elspeth and Angus watch those notes go floating across the waves! Ferocious Ness appears at once, and grabs a note or two for lunch, And the whole of the Family Ness is not too far behind! Sporty Ness leaps over him, turns upside down then dives back in, And the beautiful Lovely Ness shows she's the kissing kind! Eyewit-Ness comes up for air and takein' notes without a care, Then turns with a crash and a bash and a splash - to the Family Ness.

I got the first few and it has been driving me mad as i can't remember the rest!!!! It's something like: Rosie and Jim, Rosie and Jim travelling round on the old rag doll... Then the rest of the words i keep getting mixed up!!!! Help!! |

Twirling String are you speaking of that american version?
The orginal speed racer is Anime from Japan from the 60 that was dubbed in to English for Americans in the early seventies.

My friends kids sing a rather altered version of the Pat song....... "Postman Pat, Postman Pat Postman Pat ran over his cat The poor old cat went flying Postman Pat was crying Have you ever seen a cat as flat as that?" |

That's actually quite funny!
Postman Pat was my fave TV show when i was younger!! I loved Jess the cat!!!! I also liked Rainbow. They have just released a song with Zippy and George singing on it it's more of a dance track! It's terrible! They have also used Rainbow and it's characters to do other things such as chat shows! It was a kids show and now it doesn't seem to be! Which is a shame! |

I HATED Postman Pat when I was a kid. It was even more deadly boring than the Electric Company. Rainbow was cool, though. I loved Zippy.

Can I ask anyone out there with kiddies my age, or people who are actually my age (18) with better memories than me, tell me what the theme tune to Trap Door was? I remember loving it when I was a kid- dark and brooding!- but just don't remember the words. Any children of the eighties out there- HELP ME! Mx

lol........I remember Trapdoor, Willie Rushton at his finest
Trapdoor. Opening monologue Somewhere in the dark and nasty regions - where nobody goes, stands an ancient castle. Deep within this dank and uninviting place, lives Berk - "Hello" - The overworked servant of the thing, upstairs - "Berk! Feed me!". But that's nothing compared to the horrors that lurk, beneath the trapdoor. For there is always something down there, in the dark, waiting to come out... Song Don't you open that trap door, Your a fool if you dare, Stay away from that trap door, Cos' there's somethin' down there. Creepy, crawly, slimy things that stick onto your skin, Horrid things with tentacles that want to pull you in, Squirmy, worms, slugs and snails that lie there in a goo, They'll wait down there forever till they get their hands on you. Stay away from that trap door, Cos' there's somethin' down there. |
