You should go, it's a great place 8) And being there is naturally a million times more beautiful than photos show..
And thanks, EF! It'd be great if you uploaded some photos, would be nice to see them.

That second picture... It could have been one taken on one of the islands where my father grew up. Beautiful!

Well thanks very much!
Happy accidents, really... I may have an eye for some, but they don't always work out well, haha |

Not everyone sees a photo opportunity, and even fewer just sense a good composition. Based on those two, you've got that. Let us see more!

I'll be sure to check those out, Grey Wolf
And thanks very much again, Nerdanel... I've been taking pictures nonstop for the past few months and sometimes they come out horribly, but then other times I get really lucky... I'll go through my pics tonight and post some more soon. |

Haha... well, not a good one! Lol... being as I am but a poor recent college graduate, I can scarce afford food... and as I am on extended holiday, I have my "holiday" digital camera which is a Nikon Coolpix... not incredibly reliable, it has a tendency to blur for absolutely no reason at all, and the settings tend to be absolute crap for shooting in dusk conditions, but it's all I have for now
I shall be posting a few more tomorrow, I'm sure you'll all be waiting with bated breath |

Another Nikon Coolpix! Just like my Nikkie! Although I hear you on the blurring (how that red flashing signal of shaking annoys me) and worthless dusk settings. Still, you can take pictures with one hand, which is especially handy when you're needing the other hand to steady yourself from falling into the stream when shooting dragonflies.
I don't think I'm fit for anything more advanced (or expensive!) than Nikkie. It already took me three years to get attuned with the most important settings.

My first pics where taken w a Nikon Coolpix L3 (in '06) and only this year did I advance to the next step, a Nikon D60 Digital System Camera.
