Love...never really been in love (mind you, I'm only 16). But I do hate it when someone likes (loves) you and you don't like (love) 'em back. That happened last year.

When is it that "Hey buddy!" changes to "Hey baby!"??? Does any body truly know...?

Yeah, when you finally fall "in love" you will be all in knots, miserable and ecstatic, on the same day. Your brain will cease to function well, you will feel like a self absorbed goose. Enjoy not being in "love" while you can! What titillating torture!

*Looks over at Ironparrot*
No! I won't do it! I won't go for the obvious joke! Do animals fall in love?? If so that means most of the Disney movies I have ever seen in my whole life are lies! (Besides for the obvious reasons I mean...)

Ahem - okay guys, let's keep it PG-13-ish here... (even though I think most thirteen-year-olds would know very, very well what you're talking about)

How could you enjoy doing something like that? I've been rejected before (in a more subtle manner ie, he dated my best friend) and it crushed me.
The same person that caused me to start this thread has since asked me 'out' twice. The first time I danced around the subject, and I finally got the guts to just say no. I must have done it in the correct manner, because I spent over two hours with him and it wasn't uncomfortable at all. It may have helped that there was another person.

Any specific reasons you weren't interested? Or was it just general disinterest?

I would have to say a general disinterest. We are really two very, very different people. One of his main interests is professional wrestling. Another is monster trucks. I tend to 'go' for guys who'd rather discuss the meaning of life, or how incredibly beautiful a piece of music is. I have high standards, but I have met people that fit (most) of them. Sadly, they're either a) too good of friends to ever consider dating them or b) interested in someone else. In my current 'case' it's both. Blah.

Wrestling and monster trucks? In the industry, we call that a "double-red-flag".
