Wow. I ain't been no where compared to everyone else! I've just been to Canada and the U.S. I think at least one of my favorite places I've been was Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We went there for a band competition, and it was a blast! All of he mountains and everything...it was awesome

Agalayth, please tell me you went to at least several beaches. Bondi, Surfers', essentially any beach on the Victorian shore ... I love almost all of them. I haven't been overseas yet, so my favourite places are all in Australia. And most of them are beaches- especially those in the Gold Coast & Warrnambool. Beee-uuu-teee-fulll. |

yes that's sad! I don't know where my wallet got stolen but I think I was at the Colloseum. When we were at Florence al thesse women with like 5 kids around them would come up to us at the train station and beg for money and they would not stop!!!! it was sad but annoying at the same time! |

I've traveled a little in Europe and seen many beautiful places.
But my favourite place is found right where my cottage is situated; a small island on the Swedish west coast. You couldn't find a better place.

I've been to 40 states in the US and lived in 6. I've been to England, Canada and Mexico.
My favorite place it NJ - the white sandy beaches, the Revolutionary War sites, Princeton Univeristy, historic victorian beach towns, the Pine Barrens and the mountains. I love all the things there are to do- and have always concidered it home no matter where I have lived. As for other places - Mt Hood Oregon is my favorite - particularly Timberline Lodge area. It is magnificent and even though Mt Rainier in Washington State is taller than Mt Hood - I think because of the pointedness of Mt Hood, it has more personality.

JD, you have a one track mind. I sometimes wonder if there is anything else you think about other than your home state of New Jersey.
My favorite place to have travel to... hard one. I really liked hiking the Alps. But there were far too many people on the trail for me. My favorite place so far in the US, would have to be Big Bend National Park. I did some backpacking in there a couple of times. Beautiful sunrises, beautiful sunsets, lots of secluded trails. Interesting place to be. And Terlingua, TX (right next door to the park) is a pretty laid back place to go for a beer because no one cares that you haven't bathed in 5 days when you walk into the bar. |
