My camera battery needs to charge, and then I'll get pics. Rosalie is a sweetheart, and a very, very, very good dog.

I've got all the requirements for Journey to the Moon too. And the other game that was in the same box with Journey played perfectly and was great fun. I even tried to install it in safe mode, without the anti virus software and all. Still breaks off mid-install. Heck, I even went looking all over the internet to see if there was a solution, and while others had just the exact same problem with it, no one had a solution. It's really, really frustrating.
I never played Civilisation, but my sis sometimes played Ages of Empire before she moved in. You could hear her villagers and/or enemies dying from two rooms away. They had such colourful ways of saying 'Aargh!' each time

Hehe, they do, don't they? I have that game too, but it's too easy for me now.
Some things from games just get stuck in your head. Like: "I can't reach it!" from Indiana Jones or "Wat gaaaaaa je doen!?" from Rad van Fortuin. By the way, Civ really is nice if you like strategy games.

I loved Civ IV, but I lost the first disc, so now I can't play it anymore - until I can afford to buy it again. And it's not a cheap game. . .and with the way Rosalie is going through dog bones, I'm going to have to get a second job just for those. . .
I do have Civ II on my computer right now, though, and while it's not as good as IV, it's still fun.

Civ III rules! Civ IV is only 5 euros here though.
Try getting her a good rope. She might like gnawing on that too

Really? Civ IV is $49.95 here. *dies*
Yeah, I've got to find her some chewtoys that she can't demolish in an afternoon.

Which Indy game, Mari? The early lucasarts ones, or the later "tomb raider" style ones? I totally HEART the early Indy games, but the latter suck ass.
Dreamfall is the sequel to TLJ. IIRC, they're made by some danish company. Now, I really wanna play Dreamfall.

Anyone who likes action games should try Devil May Cry 1,2,3 or 4. I have 3, and have played the fourth. It's just slightly bugging me that the numbers are different from the chronological order. I think it goes 3, 1, 4, 2.
EDIT: They are rather violent, since the demons and half- demons can take incredible amounts of physical damage. I don't mind though. I prefer that the violence exists in the games, rather than in the real world. You can't blame games for people's violence; there's something else seriously wrong with a person, if they begin to manifest the gore resembling that of the games.

I think it was one of the early games, BoP. It was the one with Sophie and a necklace with lots of Germans. Okay, I think I just described half the Indy games.
Noble, I have one game I always play when I am enormously frustrated which is an actiongame (sort of) called Wizardry 8. For the rest I just play strategy, RPG or point and click adventures. As long as it doesn't involve too much blood etc. I DO however like Dungeon Keeper. I own 1 and 2, but 1 is infinitely better than 2. I nearly finished the campaign in 1, but my CD is broken or something, because in the last few minutes of the last assignment when I am totally obliterating my opponent, the game keeps crashing This is also a good game to combat frustrations

Argh, I was up way too late. I hate having to go into work in the morning. I'm too much of a night-owl; having to get up early is a killer.

Go to England for 4 months and then come back to the US... you'll be able to wake up early no problem
