Russian Caravan is a black tea... Lapsang Souchong with another lighter tea mixed in. It has a smokey aroma and alot of people don't like it. I buy mine in loose bulk at River City Coffee & Tea in Wenatchee Washington (shameless plug). They have been around providing good bulk tea, & coffee decades before the coffee popularity surge ever started. Just be careful on how much Tanzanian you drink...
brown sugar in coffee... interesting!

The Teacup Café II. So... does Nurv still hang around as the café hostess or has that job been taken by Lotesse?

The golden brown sugar mixed with the milk first, then put half milk/half strong Italian roast coffee - it is so good, it has a unique and comforting kind of flavour. Really nice, soft way to wake up in the morning. Now it's afternoon, though, so I'm gonna make wild salmon and sweet onion sandwiches, if anybody wants one. I'm starving after this morning's rigorous "Origins" marathon...

Job? I don't "work," working's for suckahs - I just volunteer my services. I don't even really know Nurvingiel, she hardly ever posts. I wish she'd post more often, I would love to get to know her.
Oh - I'm serving Viognier from Central California to go with those salmon salad sandwiches, y'all. (did I just say "y'all?" Shah and Spock and Rosie G are rubbing off on me )

I could use two of those sandwiches... they sound good!
The trouble is I don't use such stuff in coffee. I may try it with tea though. I'm sure Nurv will jump right in and start posting when they're around.

*looks around and hope to see a whole new cafe* But, it's just the same old one. Well, I think I like it best after all.
Russian tea sounds good, if it's more of it...

Hey, you guys this is funny, I found it on Anduril's other place he posts, some guy had it as his sig--
"I believe in karma. That means I can do bad things to people all day long and I assume they deserve it." -- Dogbert Black humour, and darkly sarcastic perhaps, but - there's some truth there all you Buddhists!

First, I want to know who you are and what you did to Lotesse?
Well, if " y'all " need help with the cafe, look me up but ONLY IN AN EMERGENCY!!!!!! Remember, I also have to run a valley, my own version of the Teacup Cafe--(Nurvingiel Approved and Rated )--about 4 websites, and pretty soon a planet, not to mention that now I am in high school in La Quinta. Speaking of which, sometimes I wish it was nearer to the La Quinta Cove. (in reality, it is not a cove--not anymore, at least). Oh, and guess what! I have begun the Martian Chronicles yeasterday (but I'm reading too slowly--I'm only 2/3rds finished.). But anyway, I got to go to Barnes and Noble, which is a whole lot less expensive than Borders but is still up there, which surprises me that it wasn't Borders who got their own coffee place taken out and put a Starbucks in, but it was Barnes and Noble who got rid of their own coffee place and put a Starbucks in. It's funny how expensive everything is. The gas out here is exceeding $3 a gallon, and I thought I should mention that because when I was reading the MArtian Chronicles one character in one of hte stories got an entire tankfull for $1.50. It was the one where he met the Martian and they didn't agree on who was real and who was not and then who was from the past and who was from the future.

I think you've been spending too much time around freshly printed on photo paper...I'm afraid to say that this is the same for myself.
Anyway, I've got to go on and find another "Rhapsody in Blue" somewhere. My recording is kinda old (not OLD but old )
