Re: Discussion
Ya know, this is the first time I've ever played a stoopid bad guy, cause it's the first time I've been in an RPG where a certain outcome was necessary. Sure, when I'm the bad guy I always loose in the long run, but I tend to take some ppl down with me, as well as challenging the heroes in a way they'd never expect (right Aara? )

Re: Discussion
Other than as dungeon master, this is the first RPG where I've played a bad guy at all!
Heh heh heh heh heh! But I think that playing one where the outcome is known in all its facets makes this a nice challenge! It also keeps things from getting ridiculously out of hand! |

Re: Discussion
xivigg, I don't think things are out of hand either! I can't wait to see what you have planned!
Shan, how did you like Saruman's handling of the Ranger? (And his escape with the elf and dwarves?!) Things ought to really start cooking now! Now I've got to put Tater and his men to work smashing the old water mill. Heh heh heh. I love Progress! |

Re: Discussion
I really loved It Gil!
I would have been sad(mad?) if Saruman has had the up side with Shan as Shan has one of the strongest will of Middle-Earth... ...Really loved it ... |

"One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them, one ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them"
Who needs the book? I can quote a good number of the poems (a bit of Elvish too) without em |

Re: Discussion
What? do wait for me to finish reading my new, deluxe edition?
To everybody Just remember Xivigg is one of my close friends (he lives 5 minutes in car from my home). But, his english skills are not as good as mine. Correct me Xivigg, but I don't think you read the books in english? So he needs the book to translate. |

Wish I knew a second language
I think Xivigg does quite well with writing in english. Keep up the good work, I can only imagine how hard it is. |

Re: Discussion
Well, it's hard to learn it, then it's much more easier. The hardest thing to learn is to change your way of thinking... don't think french when you write/speak english and way around!

Re: Discussion
I'm going to try to be consistent about the passage of time in Hobbiton.
That means that Saruman, having been quite busy, is probably done for the evening. Tater and his men are off getting drunk. Sauganast, the mysterious Red Wizard, has not been seen for a while. Right now, things are developing with Shanamir's party and the sorceress. Have I missed anything? |

Re: Discussion
I agree with you Xiv that sometimes your grammar is a little inconsistent, but so is mine I always got 70% in french, I don't know how my english could be better...
