Re: Unusual Novels (look inside)
Certainly. It is all about government, and really has little or nothing to do with animals. But, since it is technically about animals, does it fit in this category? I'm confused about what exactly this category is.
(Did that make any sense? I hope so, but I'm inclined to think not. ) I'm gonna hvae to get a new sig---I keep nearly leaving my big one on. ::sigh:: |

Re: Unusual Novels (look inside)
If you've read Animal Farm, or if you're just curious about all this discussion and don't feel like actually reading it, you might check out this summary---it's even got the "snobby version" and the "stupid version".

You know, those "summaries" would be insulting if they weren't so funny.

re: RE Lee book..
Dunedain Lady, the book to which you referred earlier is called Traveller, by Richard Adams. An excellent book, but it helps somewhat if you know a bit of the history of the American Civil War. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I think that it ranks right along with Watership Down. Hope you like it.

Re: Unusual Novels (look inside)
Lloyd Alexander's books tend to have animals as the main character... that is, they tend to have a cat as the main character...
