Crazy game today. I missed the whole fight thing, but at least Yanks won!

Wells will own the game tomorrow, and put yanks up 3-1

Unusual situation in Chicago...

The Bears' season is pretty much over before the Cubs season is over. very strange!

Dreran - you in the general Chicagoland vicinity??? Only be as specific as you're comfortable saying...

well I can remember that play. and Im certainly no Red Sox fan but i have some good friends that are and Ive never seen people so devistated and disturbed by one event. it was scary to watch. I thought one guy I knew was seriously flirting with mental instability after that. New Englanders take their sports teams seriously.

someones excited....

anyway heres a prayer for all the red sox fans. very appropriate I think...

Our Father, who art in Fenway, baseball be thy game.
Thy kingdom come, World Series won, on earth as it is in the Cask n' Flagon.
Give us this day,oh Pedro Martinez, and forgive us our losses, as we forgive those, like Babe, Bucky and Buckner, and lead us not into depression, but deliver us from the curse.

Amen

I am in shock from the Cubs game. They were 5 outs from the World Series. 5 FREAKIN' OUTS. Arrgghh....

I told you to be careful!! Dont you remember that bit about when the fat lady sings? Especially when it involves either the cubs or the red sox. It was amazing watching that though. Ive never seen an entire stadium of people completely numb with disbelief. so much collective anguish...

It is now time for the most exciting spectacle in all of baseball: GAME 7! HA!

AHHH!!! Kerry Wood just hit one deep! The freakin' pitcher helping out his own cause with a 2-run shot! On behalf of Harry Carey, I would just like to say, "HOLY COW!"

Edit: HOLY COW! Moises Alou! Home run! Cubs lead by two! (not that that means much given what happened last night)

Mine, too. It would have been fun to see a Cubs- Red Sox series.
I guess it'll just have to be Marlins- Red Sox!

Spoken like a true Cubs fan.

I am extremely disappointed. Oh well, like Valandil said, there's always next year.

*puts on his Red Sox cap*

This game will be so tense tonight. If it goes into extra innings, I think I'll go crazy.

Too bad I won't be able to watch it. I have a pep rally and then band practice from 6-10.

You like my new avatar, don't you Greg?

Better put some padding on the walls and get out that funny looking jacket with the really long sleeves.
