Or you could say they're remaking the original movie that was made (from the book).

I do like Tim Burton though! He directed 'Nightmare before Christmas' right? Is he making a new movie? (Maybe I'm looking forward to that...)

I'm looking forward to Charlie and the Chocolate factory and The Corpse Bride being that Tim Burton is the god of Film. I'm also Looking forward to the Rum Diary. I'm curious about the Untitled Quentin Tarantino Project and the Untitled Spike Jonze/Charlie Kaufman Project. Contantine looks pretty good too, it actually better be good because I've heard that the makers of that movie are going to make Chuck Palahniuk's Survivor into a movie (yay!). I'm sure there are many more movies I'm forgetting...

everyone should love Tim Burton. whats not too love Edward Scissorhands is probably my favourite TB film at the moment but they change a lot. He's directing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the movie Pirate mentioned the Corpse Bride (hooray stop-motion animation )

GAR! They can't do over Narnia! The brittish TV series wast the best thing ever with it's crap 80's animation and people in annoying costumes!!!

Charlie & TCF, thpttttttttttt! NO ONE can replace Gene Wilder!!!!

H2G2- Oh man! I'm nervous, will they do it justice?

Poo on the new P&P. The Colin Firth one is the ultimate one.

Meh, Tim Burton is cool, but he did NOT direct Nightmare before Christmas. He wrote it and produced it, but not directed. Weird, huh?

well if anyone can its got to be Johnny Depp (or Manson see dope hat video), seriously all the crap about comparisons between the films will die when the movie comes out, i dont think the movies will be similar enough to compare Depp to Wilder.

surprised nobody has mentioned the supposed biggest budget film of all time (to date!), War of the Worlds.

Of course it will be a Hollywood War of the Worlds where the producers just KNOW that while he was writing about 19th Century Britain, HG Wells REALLY meant it to be set in 21st Century USA...

Kingdom of Heaven
starring Orlando Bloom as the only headlined actor
although i notice from the advert that Martin Csokas is also in it
(just so long as he does a better job than he did of celeborn )
