I whach eather TV or movies, and then I'm thinking about the charicters and not myself. I also take baths, and as was mentioned before, I write a letter to the person causing the stress, or just write to nothing at all, but still in letter format, as if I was writing to someone. Just don't give the notes to the person that your writing them to, because that may creat even bigger problems and more stress, instead, wrinkle it into a ball, and throw it away.

I read one of my old (circa 1920s-1930s) cookbooks or I flip through a gardening catalogue. And drink a glass of wine. Or two.

Yes, alongside laughter, exercise is the greatest stress reliever. Jogging helps me handle stress quite well.

sure, to see the bird suddenly under such stress, kinda takes away stress from you, and you are left so much relieved yourself.

I only try to shoot out of range ones.

and the birds are especially good at stress relief themselves, so in a way they are only doing social service.

I don't draw. Now, whenever I get bored doing schoolwork, I either dance or start writing things in Tengwar(which is fun!)

Ooh, I do Tengwar too, but I am such a perfectionist that I do it with a calligraphy pen and make beautiful renditions of Elbereth Gilthoniel which take about an hour, so if I need relief fast it doesn't work.

I bought a calligraphy pen also. I like using it, now that I have got the hang of it. But I don't make it perfect. I write anything, such as Numenor, Gildor (my love) Inglorion, Tolkien, Linaewen etc. It relieves stress SO much. (You should see how many papers have been scribbled over with Tengwar)

I try to make it perfect, but I have yet to actually produce a perfect copy of Elbereth Gilthoniel.

I will now make an attempt to scan my best one in and post it on the Tengwar thread.

It's transferring from the other computer (the slow one that talks to my scanner). It says "10 minutes remaining".

I will watch TV to calm down a little.

BTW, normally I go for a walk if I'm stressed, but now it's 10 pm, I won't go outside.
