Re: Race for Elven Lord
I was wondering what that post-count thing was that started showing up. That's pretty neat.

Re: Race for Elven Lord
Bullroarer: If it was working correctly, then if a poster has a local account, it should say the same thing under his/her user name as it does in his/her profile. On this other board where I post, I use a local account and the two numbers aren't the same... According to the post count here, I'm in the 420s. Now if that's the number that determines when and if I ever become an Elf Lord, I have less than 80 to go.

Re: Race for Elven Lord
What I want to know is how come sometimes the post count shows up and sometimes it doesn't. I don't know about you guys, but I don't see any post count listed.

Re: Race for Elven Lord ---EDIT!!!
Shan, I bow out of the race, you're going to beat me for sure. If you've only ever posted here, you've got 478 posts. So congratulations, you'll be the first Elven Lord, but I will be second (I think...).

Re: Race for Elven Lord ---EDIT!!!
Felicitations, Shanamir. You'll make a very good Elven Lord I'm sure. Very clever of you to realize you can edit the topics.
But frankly, I don't know that being Elven Lord is all that important, considering I'm from Rohan in the first place. |

Re: Race for Elven Lord ---EDIT!!!
It does make more sense for Shan to be Elven Lord than me... I should be Elven Lady!

Re: Race for Elven Lord or Yes You Can :P
Hmm... Eruve, technically I think you already are an Elven Lord, but ezboard just doesn't recognize it. You started posting here in December. I'm not sure, but I estimate that ezboard only started keeping track around February. So all of SD's posts are recorded, and only some of yours are. So...

Hmmmm...
I think EzBoard added some sort of "# of posts" feature in 5.8. I'm going to see if it works.
Here goes... *POW!* (edit) Make that a *fizzle* - it didn't work. |

Re: Hmmmm...
I don't want to be no stinking Elven lord! I want to be a Human Lord!
I tought i would be something around those lines: "Shanamir Duntak Fils de Reagen Duntak d'Asgard, Seigneur de Rain en Navard et Chevalier de la confrérie des compagnons d'armes" I'm still trying to find the best translation... Maybe Eruve or Juntel could help? Please? |

Re: Hmmmm...
I think it's going to be a bit long for a user title, but here's the translation:
Shanamir Duntak Son of Reagan Duntak of Asgard Lord of Rain in Navard and Knight of the Fellowship of the Companions at Arms I don't know, why don't you keep the French... It gives you a certain je ne sais quoi? Note that you already have lord in there! |

Re: Hmmmm...
The only part that I had difficulty to translate was the "compagnions d'armes" I didn't know what was compagnion in english. And I honestly tought about keeping it in french. And I know too it's too long, I hoped you could help me choose the best part of it. By the way these are all true Statement about Shanamir. He is really these things. (By that I mean My Middle-Earth Roleplaying game character, Shanamir, That I've been playing for about) 7 years
And by the way, I posted something like 10-15 posts to elvenhome. So it's not exactly 478 So, what should I keep In my title? |
