Countdown clock for the TT - Page 2

I'm afraid December will come too quickly. I have to read FOTR and TTT again before the movie comes out. (While I'm at it, I'll read ROTK again, too.) Unfortunately, between work, school and "trying to have a life" (to quote Legolas_BowKing), I don't know when I'll get to read them.

December feels like an eternity away for me. So much could happen till them. I too agree with you Eruviel. I guess there might be a Hobbit movie or we could just read LOTR again.

Of course, they are beginning to make movies of other very good fantasy books, so maybe there will be a reason to live after all

Ooo that rocks!!! And you can change the lil backgound picture too! Wow thanks... 118 more days! The only problem is ny stupid brother is an idiot, he actually likes lotr, but since I like it, he says he doesn't, a preview will come on tv and he will change the channel!!! So I'm sure he will get rid of this right away, oh well, I'll just download it again!!

I dont see why Legolas should be banned...

No one has too much of an outside life if they post on a board called Entmoot.

ok this thing downloaded and now it's sitting in my c drive. it puts up a bunch of gibberish in wordpad when i try to open it, how do i do this?

I'm not sure why so many people are having trouble getting the clock to work. It worked fine on my crappy computer and has been working fine for monthes. I hope soon they have release dates for other countries.

Well, that has occurred to me too. I'm enjoying the 2 year wait for the whole thing, because it's allowed me to see the FotR 6 or 7 times. Anticipation is sometimes better than the event itself; at least, it adds to the pleasure.
However, when it's all over, we get to figure out who the Saurons in our lives are, and what we as hobbits can do to combat them (or as elves, or rangers, or whoever we are).. These movies are about real life, in disguise.
Someday remind me to tell you how I made it through nursing school(sheer agony) by recalling that if the prince had known he could slay the dragon, he would have needed no courage.

Entmoot will be more important to many of us, I guess. That'll be 2 movies later, a few yrs later, hopefully many more new friends who got into this little obsession of ours later. Almost makes one want to shed a tear or two but not just because of sadness but because of nostalgia and all those warm fuzzy feelings we think of after "the good ole days"...
