That is true...although in Seattle it seems Tully's almost beats Starbucks for proliferation-there's one on nearly every corner of downtown Seattle! (okay, not quite, but it seems like it!)

Instant *is* pretty gross, but it's the only thing that keeps me awake at nights when I'm supposed to be er... doing stuff... like papers. :angelic look:

Starbucks is not that great either. It's too milky! I like my coffee strong dammit!

Starbucks coffee really isn't that good, and neither is their chai! I generally tend to avoid starbucks when I can.

When I'm staying up late writing papers, *cough* like I am right now *cough* I generally drink tea. I like tea, it's nice, and that way I have a chance of sleeping when I finally finish said paper.

When I'm in a hurry to go to work, I just look for the first, relatively uncrowded coffee place I can find. Otherwise, I'd be half asleep until 10 when the guy assigned to make coffee comes in.

After being awake 24 hrs, down a double-shot of pure, black unweetened espresso. (it hits me like a jolt)

I have this concoction where you take a large sized cup mix regular and expresso at 50/50 and then add a teaspoon of cocoa... (and cinnamon, cream and sugar if i feel like being nice to my stomache). It keeps me awake for 24 hours, but it makes my hair fall out if i do it too much

i take my coffee drinking very seriously. and i only drink from one mug when i can. why a few days ago my favorite humongous mug broke *tear* and i had to buy a new one. we spent an hour searching for the perfect mug...*looks lovingly at her new mug filled with Gevalia Kenya Select Varietal* yep...

if i could hug the people at Gevalia i would...now if only we hadn't run out of half and half

can't stand this non-dairy crap. i brew my coffee wicked strong too...and once i was at a friend's house, and i had a cup of coffee and i thought i was drinking flavored water it was so weak...ok i could go on and on about this...

instant is from the devil...Gevalia whole bean Select Varietals and Flavored are from God...God saw the Gevalia, and said it was good

i also can't stand any type of Breakfast Blend for some reason. *shrugs*
