I remember when I knew each and every regular on these boards just by their sig, and could tell you one random thing about their life outside of the moot...Those days are gone, my friends, but praps they shall return when the Age of Fangirls is over (for this year ) Or maybe I'm just getting a life. That might be it.

Ah, the good ol' days when everyone used to go head-to-head with Wayfarer on the Anti thread... interchanging the topic with intense discussion on candy bars and sex... *sigh*

the old mooters... does anybody remember jae, DathNut, TOR, Hernalt, Eruve, Elanor, juntel... They made the moot.

I miss the days of "What Would You Do? heh, heh, heh . . . ", color-coded elves, my favorite admin buddy Darth, being called Rouge Elf, picking on lil' innocent HOBBIT with FrodoFriend . . . and I haven't even been around that long. But, yeah, already there's things to miss.

I miss gerbil and his Elijah Wood bashing...and Feraway Hawkbriar. She did some awesome art. All the Mooters who've gone away and never come back.

Tater, Gerbil, Feraway, Churl .... we used to have such times of complete insanity. And then it even went off the Moot and every day we'd hang out on AOL talking about ... waterfalls and Dwarvish ale and religion! Can't say I miss the fat religious debates that much though - Wayfarer and I always got so POed at each other. I'm still bitter.

*decides to throw in his two cents*
Not the old Moot days, but I miss Wayfarer, Black Breathelizer, and LuthienTinuviel.

*sighsighsigh* I remember when everyone knew each other and when this board was not overrun with FANGIRLS such as Legolaslvr! & co. who never use grammer and mutilate the board. I remember when we could have a discussion about Elves without going into hair color and/or hotness. I remember when the idea of "flaming" was so remote that no one ever even considered it might happen. I remember when I was often on four or five hours a day, and knew whenever anything happened... *tears*
Does anyone remember the blue pixie spammers? I practically lived on Entmoot that day...

Remember when we would trade Lembas recipes, and the thread Legolas and Gimli braid each other's hair, and...and...and the discussion on Pointy ears...those were the days. The quality of Entmoot took a definite downturn around the beginning of December ( ) but now it's starting to get back to where it was. I think.

I know I'm a newbie compared to you lot who have been here for years, (Apart from you GW, but you post so much you aound like you have! Congratulations on passing 2000!) I'm sad about seeing alot of people go.
I read the archives alot and wish I could of talked to all the people of 1999 and 2000 when they were there, it seemed so much fun, Darth Tater seemed fun to talk too, and Strawberry Ice Cream. *sigh* Wish I could of found this site then, or the old entmoot on Xboard. |
