Hobbit Movie

This is probably like raising the dead, really, but what the hey...

I think a Hobbit movie would be a good idea... There is a much better possibility to get everything from he Hobbit into a movie than the LoTR, so... as for effects, they wouldn't have any problems with that, I think...
There are so many scenes from the Hobbit I want to see too... The Riddle Game with Gollum, the three trolls, the goblins, the elves of mirkwood, Smaug and the Lonely Mountain...

Perisil, i agree, i hated the way the mirkwood elves looked in rankin and bass' version, they looked so icky and not beautiful like elves should be! and gollum, he looked like some disgusting frog creature. i mean wasnt gollum a hobbit/human type of mix? he most certainly didnt turn into an aqueous creature, i mean yes he did live under the mountains by some deep dark lake, but he wasnt a frog!!

Hmm... The scene with the White Council finding out the Ring has resurfaced. No. They did not know. Did they? Gandalf only guessed, but he wasn't certain. He didn't say anything.


But I do think that The Hobbit is just the right size to make a faithful 2-hour (maybe even 1 1/2 hour) movie. I hope someone does this. *Faithfully*
