I forgot this:
"Mr Frodo. FRODO!FRODO "What Sam?" "Nothin' I thought I'd lost you. It's somethin' Gandalf told me" "What did he tell you?" "Don't you lose him Samwise Gamgee, an' I dont mean to" "Sam,we're not even out of the Shire. What could possible go wrong?" I love that. I also like"You have my sword...and my bow...and my axe"VERY good Sam

Lurtz' "Find my half-legs" was suitably comic.
"Let's hunt Orc" kinda reflected the whole film really. |

Not really my favorite line from the movie but it was said often enough by nearly everyone at some point:
"RUN!!!" Reminds me of Monty Python, a bit.

I like Boromir's quote while in Moria. "they've got a cave troll" He said it in a most excelent way I thought.
I also liked the very begining with the whole "the world has changed" bit. I thought it did a really good job setting up the movie.

Sad part......When they were on the Bridge of Khaza-dum (sp?), and Frodo and Aragorn/Strider/Wingfoot/etc. were on the stair thing while everyone else was below them, and it broke off a bigger piece (by the way, Aragorn/Strider/Wingfoot/etc. was really cool at that part, because he shoved Frodo up first, then he barely made it himself....He risked his life for him ) Anyways, just the way it would feel if they didn't make it, for Sam and the others to watch Frodo and Aragorn/Strider/Wingfoot/etc. die, and I love the way Aragorn/Strider/Wingfoot/etc. says "Lean forward." I also love the way Legolas says, "Gandalf!" right after he jumped over the gap first.....He says it with a spiffy accent

I dreamed about that when I was a small child, before I know that the movie was being made. I wanted to play the part of Legolas, especially the "Gandalf!" line. I think the character who played Legolas did a very good job there and in other parts.

"Oh, that's nice! Ash in my tomatoes!" Just tickles me, I don't know why . . .
"You shall be the Fellowship of THE RING!" Elrond just looks so pleased with himself when he says that. Makes me laugh. "In place of a Dark Lord, you shall have a Queen! Not dark, but beautiful and terrible as the morn! Treacherous as the sea! Stronger than the foundations of the earth! All shall love me and despair . . ." Loved that. It was cool. I don't know, it was all great (except for "Come and claim him", and "What grace I have, blah blah blah," ack!). Except I keep laughing at inappropriate places.

Of course, I loved all the dialogue that came straight out of the book, but here are some of my favorite lines created for the film:
"NOBODY tosses a dwarf!!" "It comes in pints?" "Where are we going?" (When it came to extra-Tolkien dialogue, I thought the scriptwriters did a better job on comic-relief/character developing lines than they did on the serious and expositional/etc. lines.)
