Watch that recently too. Another sad case of not squeezing the lemon enough. It was better than Welcome to Mooseport, though, as comedy goes.

Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea. Oh I just love those! Every time I watch them is as good as the first.
And a while ago I watched "Jeeves and Wooster," the complete second season.

I saw Magnolia on IFC the other day. I thought it was very artfully done. I loved it. It's probably the only Tom Cruiz movie I've ever really liked.

ugh, just finished watching hellboy. i went into it thinking it'd be a good laugh; you know, "ha ha, how corny is that?" sort of thing. but it was so dumb, it wasn't even amusing- it was just...lame. waste of time

[QUOTE=katya]I just saw American History X. [QUOTE]
This is a good one. one of Norton's best I think. Im glad that you enjoyed it Katya. Very cool concept- much to talk about within... Well I seen Kill Bill 2 and it sucked so bad, i wish it had all the 'exitement' of the first one, the ending was so lame! I also watched a bunch of movies on cable. Anyone seen levity? Its okay but kind of slow. i seen hellboy too, i didnt really think to hard about that one.. Havent been typing in a long time, first time back in months, & Im happy to be back & hear all your lovely comments! |

I recently watched Hellboy, too. I found it to be a good movie; but there are other movies in the same genre that are better: for example, Van Helsing and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

I don't know your tastes in movies. But I enjoyed it and so did Ben (I think :P). It was very strange.....but entertaining and a little emotional. I liked the Natalie Portman bits :P I don't really watch Scrubs - but that guy was good in this. A couple old ladies walked out in the middle of it.

I just saw a fairly interesting movie called "Brother from Another Planet". It was a lot about slavery and racism and less about outer space.

Saw Something gotta give this Friday.
Diane Keaton was too floozy. (had expected more character from her) Jack Nichelson was too pushy. (ditto) Amanda Peet (too intense) So what could have been a fairly good movie was downed by the actors and incessant music. Last edited by Grey_Wolf : 08-22-2004 at 03:05 AM. |

i saw 'du ska nog se att det går över' by cecilia neant-falk, a swede, for the 4th time. it's a documentary about young lesbian girls' lives. after we had seen it, neant-falk herself was there to talk about it. very interesting.

I watched Oceans 11 last night as well as LA Confidential. Both were good.

Watched I, Robot today. What a great movie! The visuals alone would be enough to earn it prizes. The storyline (though not that creative) is still exciting and meaningful. I'd strongly recommend it.
