talkin bout processions in religous ceremonies, no one beats HINDUISM. it is absolutely crazy and very very elaborate, specially in festival time.

As for Catholic, I like Catholics rites (confession, mass, exorcism) a whole lot, and love stuff with Catholic priests. Though I don't think I'd try to fit them together.
One thing you must remember though is that Catholicism is a branch of Christianity; it's not a different religion. So since you're a Christian, saying that you don't believe in Catholicisim isn't a particularly valid statement. What you really mean is that you don't believe several of the things that the Catholics believe.

You don't have to believe that Catholic rites make someone any better in God's sight than going without them, but I just want to make sure you're aware that the different branches of the Christian faith really only diverge in places aside from the most important aspects of Christianity. Those aspects that you cannot go without.

Really? What kind of festivals do Hindus have? I have learned some about their religion, but not heard anything about their festivals.

Indeed, of course, silly me. I meant I don't believe in some of the divergences of Catholicism.

Sorry, that was probably unnecessary, then, for me to point out .

Yes. I have heard of 'divali' (Apologise about the spelling) and the other festival/s. Whoa! Throwing paint at one another for a celebration! Fun fun.

If I may ask, what is it you like about the two religions? And I am really curious as to how the God and the Goddess don't qualify as "other gods".

Again, I am not trying to sound disrespectful in the least, but am very interested.
I guess I was a bit too personal. My apologies.

is it because of Passover? I heard that Jews during the Passover can't eat anything with yeast in it...is that true?

too bad im in atlantis so i cant follow it

*i also feel kinda weird, cuz i dont follow judaism any more, but it feels weird not to celebrate passover and yom kippur and stuff*

I was just reading the laws of Wicca, and this one really stuck out at me:

Quote:
35. And if any break these laws, even under torture, THE CURSE OF THE GODDESS SHALL BE UPON THEM, so they may never be reborn on earth and may remain where they belong, in the hell of the Christians.
And people think Christianity is harsh!

Thoughts, comments etc. from Wiccans/ex-Wiccans/those who know more than me?

I think the three fold law is even worse. imagine having things turn back on you badly only three times as worse. and thats while yer still alive. not while yer in hell.
