Freddie...do us a favor, and cut a little slack, please? You should know that people like us can't stay on topic forever

I would HATE it if somebody agreed with me all the time. Hate it, hate it. Arguments....er...*cough* debates, they're fun. I get into arguments with my humanities teacher all the time ('course, that's not too hard...he's sorta annoying!). Anyway, different opinions are interesting. I suppose someone that had the same VIEWS on some things would be good, but differentiating opinions within a view is nice.

Don't sweat it, Tano, freddie's just immature - guess he hasn't hit puberty yet. Just ignore him and he might go away.

I think what would be even more irritating is a person who can't agree with anything.

Oooh, yes, that would be annoying....hmm...there are a lot of annoying things, and perhaps we should save them for the venting thread and focus on what we WANT...

I want no more homework, and a large piece of chocolate cake.

First guy to give me that get a virtual kiss. (Not that a virtual kiss is worth much, but...there ya go. Take it or leave it. )
btw, MauraMellon, I really like the Button...

oh, right. *crick rolls her eyes at her own denseness*

again, to get back on topic:

Ages and ages ago, in the what men want thread, I said that girls were manipulative, and gave the example of the girl in the cafeteria. my roomate and I witnessed her coniving efforts to gain the attention of a particular male w/out even making eye contact w/ him. We had a good laugh at the girl, and at the fact that the guy fell for what (we thought) was a very obvious ploy. (in case you don't remember, the ploy was be extremely attentive to her friends, laugh loudly at their jokes, and seem extra-affectionat toward them, in an effort to display what a caring and sensitive person she really was)

Anyway, last week, we witnessed a guy doing the same thing! However, I don't know wheter or not it was the same purpose for the same end, but now I want you guys to own up and tell me: are guys in general manipulative like that, or am I (like a stereotypical female) overanalyzing the situation?

That's your opinion, and that's fine. However, I don't believe in marriage, and I have a live in partner, and we are perfectly happy with each other, and the way things are. For some, marriage is a beautiful thing, for others it's an obligation, or trap. One I'm not falling into.

I've been with my BF for 8 (almost 9 years now). I met him in high school, when I was 14. We've been sleeping together pretty much since the get go, and we're still together. (I know, more than you needed to know!)

Girls, If you want a guy to really like you. This is the last thing you want to do. Guy's do not respect girls that give in to sexual pressure they use them and then drop them. Don't cheapen yourself. Love comes only where there is first respect.
That is INCREDIBLY sexist.

Go BoP! Way to be independent and nonconformist!

Personally, I'm just going to do whatever I and my future partner want, regardless of what anyone has to say about it. My life, my decisions.

I personally think it's worse when a guy sleeps around, but that's a very long and technical explanation that I can't give on here. Aside from that, I agree with FrodoFriend: my life, my decision. Whether I don't or do, it's my business, and others should not be so judgemental about it.

Love should not be based on whether or not a person is a virgin when you meet them, if it is, then it's not real love.

I have recently discovered that i LOVE it when men hold doors open for me. My two maths teachers did and yes they may be old enough to be dad but still its really polite!!!

Confessional time: my dormmates and I keep track of how many times guys hold doors open for us in a day.

I hold the record at four. and that's acutally pretty sad if you think about how many doors you go through in a single day.
