I am listening to Celine Dion. How... unusual.
My friend was here today with her dog and we played a nice boardgame with the family. It was fun!

Anyway, have fun!
I was going to hear a symphony orchestra. Hence "going to the symphony" as opposed to "listening to Vivaldi's Concerto in D."

And it was fun.

Yes, she is quite interesting, isn't she?

She's got quite the belter voice, but I hate the way she accents some things >.<

Her older, french CDs are much better IMO.

I'm going to make two lemon meringue pies today, more or less from scratch. They will be delicious.

I never liked lemon meringue because all I've ever had is the crappy store-bought ones. My world is about to change.

Pies are fun to make. I made my grandmother a peach pie for her birthday.

Yay animals. I really miss my cat. She's a little sweetie pie, but she's got lots of vim and vigour too. Sometimes she gets a gleam in her eye not unlike Bucky from "Get Fuzzy".

If this were pop quiz and I was the grader and it was subjective to my truths, you'd get 1/3. No bonus points for the Hi.

Yeah, so does mine. It's usually followed by a bite. <_<

So you're operating in a subjective impractical scale that doesn't often apply to the real world?

Dogs are very smelly. I think my kitty was weaned too early though... she refuses to sleep in anyone's lap until after she has caught and groomed their hand.

Eh. Am trying to re-read the Odyssey, read our textbook and write my paper outline mentally. Is sort of working. Just, the book we're supposed to be using as the source for the archeological evidence was co-written by our professor, and while it isn't at all badly written, it's written in such a way that it already makes the comparisons with the Odyssey that she wants us to make using it as contrast, making the textbook one large example of the type of paper she wants us to write.

I'm not actually sure if that makes this assignment easier or harder...

Ah well. Kettle's on.

EDIT: Have some wine, Katt. Straight from Circe's stores.
